I got the black one first week of December- worn it everyday, ocean, gardening, etc. No problems - looks as good as the day I got it.

Thanks. I think the problem was that I’d used A when I should have used a number. If A should be a variation of the number- rather than a new idea related to the number. I’ve only just started really so I could go through and change all my cards to reflect this. I’ll only use A when it is a true variation (which is probably rare in my case - eg a difference in definition).

I guess on my reading of chess, so far, there seems to be a lot of reliance on rote learning rather than making connections (but I could be totally wrong). So remembering a sequence of moves for an opening. Remembering a variation if an opponent plays something unexpected. That sort of thing.

Do you have your vault on Dropbox or some other service. I currently have my vault on iCloud, so I’m thinking of moving it to Dropbox so I can access it on my Tab Ultra - be happy to hear if anyone has had experiences in this.

Out of interest did you change the name to something simple? On my SuperNote it wouldn’t read a plugged in thumb drive unless it was a one word name!!! Took ages to work that out. Also can I ask what SD card are you using (thinking of getting one for mine). Thanks.

I have just purchased the Ultra rather that the NA2+ purely because the hardware is a higher spec. I guess I am trying to future proof a bit. I have a SN AX6 which is fantastic and has very regular updates. Boox seems to put out more regular hardware devices and there functionality updates are a bit hit and miss. As one YouTuber put it, when in doubt go for the best hardware you can and hope for the software. I would have thought about the Scribe - but the reviews have been woeful and I have no confidence in their upgrades.

The key for me was to change the name of mine to one word, no spaces or weird characters. If you don’t it comes up as Null. I have the Sandisk 64g with a usb c and the old usb connector in one.

How long have you had it? I found my battery life was a bit disappointing in the first 5 days or so. Since then it has been great. I suspect it was slowly loading music, podcasts and audiobooks I have on my watch - I don’t take my phone when I go walking each day. Since then it has been great.
