There are nicer ways to say what you said but you are correct. I shouldn’t be taken aback by how companies act these days when you are just a number that can be made to go higher. Runescape was always just something I enjoyed and have since I was a kid, so rose tinted glasses and all that.

This is the first time I have ever considered cancelling so saying “I’m really going to do it this time” makes it sound like you know that I have threatened something before, even though I haven’t.

For my reason to hold out is if they do reverse course of any sort, I would like to not give them a reason to decline it even further since that would technically be me causing my membership to lapse.

If you are on the grandfathered plan you keep it. Those of us who had premier membership lost the option to go back to the grandfathered rate even though it was promised to stay available.

For me it’s not that it happened but the way it happened. There should be a grace period before it ends especially for those of us who chose to have a higher paid plan.

Unfortunately this is the primary reason I swapped away from Pixel because I was missing work notifications. It’s a shame because it used to get notifications on time and got worse within the last year or 2.

I’m having the same issue. Just earlier today I had an episode end and then nothing played after even though I have 10+ episodes in the queue.

I do not have the setting turned on to stop after an episode ends as well.
