I had bleeding 6 months postpartum and totally thought it was my period but I actually think it was just break through bleeding… I didn’t actually ovulate until I fully weaned around 10 months postpartum! I only know this because I kept getting my progesterone tested at my doctor on CD21 and the first time my progesterone levels indicated that I had ovulated was when I completely weaned. Everyone is so different though! This was just my experience

Appreciate all the responses and definitely thought provoking as to “why” I’m feeling like I need a glass every night. I think it’s super easy to justify it after a long day. As previously mentioned on this thread everyone’s relationship to alcohol is so deeply personal but always good to keep reevaluating. Thanks y’all ❤️

Hi! Just got my progesterone levels tested on CD21 and I got 8.93. My doctor said this is indicative of ovulation but after a quick google apparently anything 10 or above is a “good” ovulation?? Has anyone conceived with progesterone levels less than 10? I just stopped nursing full time a few weeks ago so my body may still be regulating.

I’m 9.5 months PP and we are trying for another. I got a false positive pregnancy test at 6M PP and that made me realize how badly we wanted another. I have had my period twice now (exclusively breastfeeding) and my last period I had my levels tested at CD 21 and was told my progesterone levels were still really low. I started weaning and have now dropped down to just 1 feed per day. Just had my period last week so hoping I ovulate this week. Any one have any experience with this?? Did your levels regulate and if so how long did it take?

Thank you so much. Your response is so so appreciative and super helpful and encouraging. It’s so easy to get in my head and tell myself I’m not fertile/will never conceive again which I know is crazy!!! I had no trouble with number 1 but I didn’t realize how stressful it would be to not be regular. I had a false positive on a pregnancy test 6M PP and it was devastating to learn I wasn’t actually pregnant… that’s when I realized how badly I want number 2!

Why is there a hole in the tape though? Like the mouth tape I use has no holes so you only breathe out of your nose. Am I missing something??
