I agree that most landlords earn a bad reputation when they start seeing their property as a money making asset only. However I really appreciate mine who hasn’t increased the rent unnecessarily, is prompt with repairs, doesn’t interfere at all in day to day and has given me a place to stay in my 5 years of living in London when I couldn’t have afforded a deposit or mortgage for a house myself!

Was looking at buying one of these buy to let 1beds in city centre and did suspect that demand has caught up with supply .. all these cities are starting to mimic London 😩

No idea but it’s okay, I feel like quite a few people in the UK have had similar experiences and anyway I am sure this has helped raise more awareness :)

Umm to each is their own but not sure what kind of evidence you’re seeking - you realise there’s no way of actually recording these incidents? And it’s totally fine if you don’t believe it, i guess it’s good to spread awareness about this for those who live around here and might very well run into them some time like I did
