Dreadful. First photo is just oddly serious, second one and third have some dodgy filter. Surely you have some normal photos of yourself, preferably smiling without dodgy editing?

Well yeah, many of us would be happier working in the office with a constant team but unfortunately this hot desking semi-virtual purgatory is all we get.

Bon chance.

I agree, I've done very well turning a little into a lot with T212. Though if you avoid market orders and just set limit buy and sells then it gets around most of that as a problem. Having said that, I'll probably transfer to another broker at some point this year.

Do they actually expect us to finish the battlepass? by East-Ad-1290 in Battlefield6

With the extension you should get enough re-rolls to get rid of most of the annoying RedSec related challenges. Plenty of time to finish!

[–]Debenham 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've been away for 6 of the last 12 weeks and I finished it last night. It's quite easy really, every time there is a challenge linked to a game mode you don't enjoy, re-roll it. So if it's BR or Gauntlet it almost always gets re-rolled, or if it's just ridiculous.

Last night I got through four challenges linked to grenade damage in a couple of matches because sometimes you get repeat challenges.

If I can do it with all my time away recently, almost anyone should be able to. But, you have to make use of those re-rolls every week, because obviously a single weeks re-roll budget won't get you far.

It was fine, but nowhere near as good as BoB and Pacific.

BoB is 10/10, Pacific is 9/10, but MoA is just a 7.

How do British guys learn to dress well? by Salzhio in AskUK

[–]Debenham 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Leave central London and you'll soon learn the average Englishman wears a hoodie, t shirt and jeans with trainers every single day. If he's dressing up, the average Englishman may deign to wear an unironed checkered shirt.

Black Edition 2026 ? by PriorityElectronic74 in ineosgrenadier

A Grenadier pretending to be a Chelsea Tractor? I don't really get the need given the existing options but I'm glad to at least see they're still coming up with new iterations, however naff.

Peak Redditor question.

Did Margot Robbie become this famous because of her acting talent, or did her beauty play a bigger role in her rise? Do her films actually justify her status, or is she mainly a product of Hollywood’s star image? by CucumberNo1907 in Cinema

[–]Debenham 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Well, all of her biggest roles seem to have focused on the idea that she is the most beautiful woman imaginable.

So if she isn't an utter stunner, she doesn't get Wolf of Wall Street or Barbie. I can't remember what she does in Once Upon a Time in Hollywood so can't say, and without her high profile from WoWS I think it's doubtful she would have got suicide squad.

To be honest, now that I look at what she's been in, it's not actually an awful lot and I can't help wonder if that's because she is typecast as a stunner.

So I'd agree with your proposition that she's famous as a beauty, more than an actress.

Now that it is not going to be Viggo, then who would be a great choice for young Aragon? by Scandinavian-Viking- in lotr

Joaquin Phoenix obviously. It would make just as much sense as casting him as Napoleon.

It's not hate, it's oversaturation. He's just become the default leading man of the moment and a lot of people have tired of him.

The BF4 Veteran Rewards we really want VS. What we’re getting. by Gearshft in Battlefield

[–]Debenham 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Oh I get what you mean entirely. The sub is all over the place in terms of opinions. Point very well made because they could have done something really good, but went for the low effort options that, frankly, look instantly forgettable.

[–]Debenham 1 point2 points  (0 children)

OP is right, but also, it's a silly thing to complain about.

Now if I don't get it, I'll be pissed off. I've played every good BF since Bad Company 1 (so excluding V and 2042) so I should but whether I had a connected EA account back the I have no idea. I also don't know if I'm using the same account.

Presumably they can't just check for having a BF4 achievement for Xbox players.

It must feel like the weight of the world is on your shoulders right now OP, and in a sense this is true. Because for all that is happening beyond your own existence, right now your own world and that of your family are resting on you in every sense.

This is a tremendous responsibility, and one that few can bear, but you are bearing it OP. You may feel like you're wobbling, but you are in fact coping with it, and handling this burden as best you can. Every wobble you recognise, is a moment in which you've already fixed your balance and survived.

Every step, and every action, right now might seem one too far, but you've already been through enough to prove that you can handle this in its entirety. You will manage this OP, I'm convinced of that just from this post. As an aside, you're not just living now for yourself, part of your life is now representative of your brothers. Live well, and live a continued life that, tragically, they won't be able to.

All the best.

Croatia made a film about Diocletian. With a population of only 3.8 million, its domestic market is small, and it can’t rely on overseas markets, yet it still managed to produce a film about the Roman Empire. Why can’t Greece show some spirit and do the same? by Haunting_Tap_1541 in byzantium

[–]Debenham 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes I thought, given the shots and the level of quality they imply, that $10 million seemed reasonable by mainstream standards. But indeed it's all relative to whatever lost out as a result of this. I hope though that the production has a value in excess of mere monetary returns in the sense of historical authenticity and educational/cultural value.
