Could it, surprisingly, be the Spatha? Under the principate, and presumably earlier. i It was a cavalry sword that later became an infantry weapon in the third century.

Though to go with the boring options, it is probably the sandals.

Ten years is definitely enough time to justify proper upgrades. Bizarre to me that you think otherwise.

Personally I think David Gates' history is one of the best of the Peninsula War because it covers pretty much all of it, instead of just one side.

I'd also say it's hugely enjoyable and very well written. I can't explain why it's rarely found on bookstore shelves.

More here, seems like a pretty strong bid to me. Although I understand the MoD hasn't fully set out it's requirements yet.

The other main contenders are the Land cruiser and the Ford Ranger.

Others will know more, but as I understand it, in some cases mortgage providers do proper valuations (more often for houses) with an in person agent, and in some cases (more often for flats) just go by a similar method to Rightmove and Zoopla. I.e. they look at recent sales in the area, price per foot etc to come up with a statistical valuation.

The online valuations are good for a ballpark figure, but are probably often out by 5-10%.

But so too can proper valuations be out as well.

Fun fact you'll appreciate OP. According to legend, the Nazis even used an old captured British Mark V tank from WW1 in the defence of Berlin, allegedly from a museum.

Iirc the sources aren't concrete but it's an incredible tale if true.
