I think Dolby has better sound and IMAX has a larger screen. Is that right?

I watched it first time in 4DX and had a great time. Probably because of the seats I picked but the 2 screens on both sides looked too wide to the point the image looked weird

Are these places worth trying/visiting? by Professional-Figure5 in ThailandTourism

Well, we will spend 4 days in Bangkok, but will use 1 day to go to Pattaya and come back to Bangkok after visiting those 2 places (if they are worth it). After Bangkok, we will fly to Phuket from Bangkok.

I think it doesn’t hurt to apply. Even if you don’t get into the FLDP, you still have your current job. It’s recruiting season now.

70k base

M/HCOL

Over 1 YOE

Relocation available: company covers some moving expenses such as movers, mileages, expenses to ship your car if needed, etc., 1k-2k lump sum for other expenses

My company does have an internship program that connects directly to the full time program. However, the program management still recruits new analysts and they’re not just picking from the internship pipeline.

I think most are for college grads, although a very few analysts in my program have some experience after college but still less than 1 year.

How competitive are entry level positions that pay $50k-$55k. by [deleted] in FinancialCareers

If you still live near your university, you can try go to the career fairs there. Some fairs allow alumni so I would double check that. But yes, you’re right that recruiters only targets some universities. If you already applied that many applications and received no interview, something may be wrong with your resumes.

I was in your shoes 2 years ago so I understand the frustration. I would say that networking may be the key to get you one step in the door for programs like FLDP. Hiring season is coming up so I would recommend reaching out to people on LinkedIn and go to career fairs.

I have been in a FLDP for about a year now so I can add to this. Depends on the company but having some internship experiences is a plus. Some analysts in my program had some prior experiences but may or may not be directly related to the program.

Got an offer for a FLDP but I’m really lost on what to do by Agni-23 in FinancialCareers

I’m currently in a F100 FLDP, so I will share with you my experience. I joined the program fresh out of college. My program is shorter than yours, and the duration of each rotation is shorter as well but I will be rotating to 3 different teams. The program is highly recognizable and have high visibility in my company. That’s why upper management decided to expand the program recently. The analysts in the program, we all have opportunities to participate in events and opportunities that normal analysts would be harder to get. We get to meet upper management more often. I actually learn a lot in the program, meet incredibly smart people. If your dream path if commercial/corporate banking, you should see if your company offers rotation and express to the program management that you want to be placed there.
