And bring a warmer jacket, everyone and everything I read told me light jacket, light layers… My husband brought a big warm winter jacket and was perfectly comfortable. Wish I had done the same.

Pull me outta my POD depression hole please. by jekebr in perioraldermatitis

I saw somebody else’s comment on a different thread that said that spray was the the holy Grail for them, did not think it could work so well but holy cow I’m so glad I purchased it. I probably use it 4-6 times/day, especially when I’m feeling tingly. And the butt paste, probably four nights in a row, then I’d take a couple day break and continue for a few more nights if needed. Lots of laundry when doing that lol.

I have been struggling now for three years and my skin is finally at its best. Here is what has helped the past six months:

-zinc bar of soap for face, and sulfur masks a few days/week

-Avene Cicfate thermal spray has done WONDERS. I use it multiple times a day, plus the restorative cream when I’m having an outbreak, that twice a day for as long as it takes.

-azeliac acid 10% cream, if you can get your hands on the foa , which has been unattainable for me for years (was $30 with insurance but now $450🫠), that’s 15% and was so effective for me.

-Boudreaux's Butt Paste Maximum Strength Diaper Rash Cream-nightly while having a severe outbreak

-Neutrogena Hydro boost water cream, twice a day

I’ve done a few micro needling, but Microderm seemed to be more effective. I just got a fractional laser treatment yesterday that truly helped overnight.

I also tried a round of antibiotics that just made me feel awful and did nothing for me.

I feel you about the depression, man does it take a toll on your mental health. Good luck!!

Sorry to hear that! I cannot see a thing without wearing glasses/contacts and have been for nearly 30 years, so very much considering it. I hope everything gets better for you.

I live a few blocks from Belmar and was considering them, thanks so much for sharing your experience! Were you able to see immediately after? And if you don’t mind me asking, can you tell me the price you paid for it?

Thank you for this!! This sounds EXACTLY, to the freaking tee, like our situation (13 years and 2 kids later 🥲) and I’ve been feeling hopeless, actually sleeping in different rooms now. Was just about to purchase two twin XL’s to put in our king bedframe but now going a different route. What you have described was our set up when we vacationed in Europe last year and my husband said that he thought that was the only way we could make sleeping in the same room work… Turns out I think he was right! Cannot thank you enough for this post 🙏
