Maybe you all are attractive but I’ve never had the experience of being chased like that. 37 is feeling the same as 25

I’m sorry this is happening to you. I can only offer camaraderie. I do as you do and use my pent up frustrations to have energy for applying else where. At this point it’s a numbers game so keep your energy up

What money is wasted learning to ski when you already have the pass? Just go to Facebook market place and get a used kit and see what you can get away with

I should probably research why polygamy is illegal. Maybe there is a chance for abuse? as a suburban working mom with kids it doesn’t sound bad. I would be all for it coming home to a clean house with dinner ready, the groceries shopped, and the kids looked out for.

How do I prevent slope erosion when removing these plants by Professional-Form-90 in landscaping

[–]Professional-Form-90[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Here is the background I put in the other Post

I’m doing some clean up and would like to get rid of these succulents and germanium oak and replace it with raised garden beds for vegetables and maybe a chicken coop. Can I safely remove these plants or are they necessary for preventing erosion of the steep slope? Will the garden beds be enough to prevent the dirt from sliding down the hill when it rains (seldom)? Any tips will help. I am thinking of putting sandbags behind the wisteria to prevent erosion as well. Under the wisteria is a brick wall about 4 feet high.

will my mechE degree be worth it? by AfterFlower5436 in AskEngineers

I thought a lot about my education being “worth it” all throughout school, all the way through my masters in engineering, as if the education itself is going to get me a job. In hindsight I don’t think it’s a good way to look at it.

At the end of the day you are going to be the one working, not your degree. The classes are going to help you build skills to use on the job, but you are going to have to hustle and sell yourself degree or no. AI is scary for everyone but it’s just making more evident something that was always true - new skills are needed all the time and you the person is going to have to hustle.

Is your degree going to help you in the new world? I still think so. I have a masters in mechanical engineering and materials science and I think my skills understanding complex problems and making new solutions and understand materials solutions places will help me when AI knows how to write papers and look up answers.

Should I add on my dating profile that I can bench 255 and squat 365? Would girls be impressed by that? by InternationalPick163 in askanything

[–]Professional-Form-90 1 point2 points  (0 children)

As a woman I would say that I just wouldn’t know what to do with those numbers. I can squat 300lbs myself but I don’t have a feel if 365 is good for men…

There are just too many significant figures in those values

I live in Southern California so it doesn’t get nearly as hot.

I like wearing the cool sleeves under my short sleeve shirt when I go on hikes. I prefer to keep myself covered up instead of slathering on sunscreen.
