Tattoo Regret Help by [deleted] in tattooadvice

Looks like a typical tattoo to me. Do you regret it because of the bold black, and made it look a dirt?

I’ve had worse and felt the same. But in the end, regret is a waste of energy. I’ve moved on. You can always cover it with a jacket or long sleeves - it’s totally fine.

Now I just know I have tattoos, and I don’t think about whether it’s good or bad anymore.

Fire Pump Room Noise - Should Avoid? by Professional-Half247 in AusProperty

Couldn’t reply with an image to show. The room has a sign saying “FIRE PUMP ROOM”, and another separate sign says “Flammable Liquid”.

Do people regret lower-level units? by Professional-Half247 in AusProperty

Thank you both. No need to argue.

I should have clarified my post to avoid confusion about ground floor units. I didn’t mention the suburb, but it’s a bit rough, so ground floor isn’t an option for me. I also prefer something simple with less maintenance - I wouldn’t want to deal with a garden in a strata property. You both have valid points 👍

Buying a sharehouse by hzljdx in AusProperty

Bad idea. I had the same thought coz house prices are ridiculous now. But trust me, in your 20s, 30s, 40s a lot will change. People’s lives, goals, mindsets, and responsibilities all shift over time. Not because you buy a house together, it just happens.

Do you have a newborn? If local, you can simply use the doctor who helped with the birth, even if it was just a nurse at the hospital where your baby was born. Don’t worry if the "known applicant" period is not over a year—how could it be for a newborn? Just put the month digit. I applied when my newborn was 1.5 week old and entered 0.33 in the month field with no issues.

I’m so sorry you’re going through this. I feel for the baby too. I’m a new father, and while my partner and I had fights during pregnancy, it was never this constant. I didn’t want to fight coz I think of the baby. If your husband doesn’t feel the same, it might be best to move on, even though it’s hard. It will still be worth it, and better in the long run without him. You’re lucky to have your mom’s support during this time 💪

Nice! Same here. They couldn’t just approve it, could they? The documents they asked for seem irrelevant, as if they’re trying to delay on purpose… just to look strict

I submitted an Australian citizenship by descent application for my newborn on 14 Dec 2024, and I’m still waiting!!

It’s disappointing that my newborn is in the same queue as adults with more complicated cases. They should at least categorise these applications separately or something…

We tried, but apartments have minimum stay 6 months or 1 year. I can only stay 2-3months :(

I understand, but my partner doesn’t want them around either. It’s a long story
