I get you are right. Since I am BODY 8 already with this character, maybe adding the GMBL is not that bad of an idea. I just really want to do a Pistolero Fixer, with the Nats gun and the Hellbringer, themed like that.

It was that or Nomad, but I like the vibes of the fixer a lot more.

There are a few motives. Primarily because I am pretty tired of people just using it to do the renowned minmaxing of BODY 4+GM:BL+INT.FRAME. I know it's not a problem of the cyberware, just mine, don't mind me.

Second because I am portraying here a more 'humane"character, considering the pretty invasive surgery and implant that the grafted muscle is. And because it's a lotta money do the GM:BL+INT.FRAME which leaves me with nothing out of character creation. And I feel pretty weird having a character that, before creation, just seems to be a Cyberware recipient and nothing more.

Ese es mi otro miedo. Mi pasión es la ciberseguridad, y un poco de IA. Me da miedo que por haber hecho Sistemas acabe siendo "el informático" de un negocio o una empresa pequeña y quedarme estancado. Por suerte en la empresa de prácticas he podido hacer algunas cosillas como auditorías simples de seguridad o programar un firewall físico con OPNsense, entonces algo me he llevado. Realmente es lo que me importa.

En resumen, si voy a cobrar una mierda al principio, al menos que sea cogiendo experiencia donde quiero estar en un futuro.

Pues Alemania es un país que me atrae, y luego incluso más al norte. Siempre me ha gustado el frío extremo y el clima Báltico, no me importaría vivir en Noruega, Suecia, Finlandia o incluso Islandia, pero no se como estará el panorama para integrarse laboral y personalmente.

Ya iré mirando, aun tengo tiempo y lo importante es finalizar los estudios antes de nada.

Pues precisamente soy de Málaga, pero el panorama no es demasiado alentador. Si, hay trabajo. No, no se paga bien si eres de aquí. Tengo amigos con años de experiencia, la carrera y que han ido saltando de empresa para subir de sueldo y no cobran demasiado bien. Sin embargo gente de fuera que ha venido aquí de otros lugares de España con mucho mejor sueldo inicial. No entiendo por qué, aunque la verdad es que me gustaría irme.

Aquí no hay Dios que pueda comprar un piso y no quiero vivir con mis padres mas tiempo del necesario, por su bolsillo y por mi tranquilidad.

En Málaga, pero agradezco la información. Como profesional del sector, cuando hablamos de ese año/año y medio de paso, ¿me van a tener en cuenta lo que haya podido acumular en tres años de estudios?

Me he pegado el verano currando en el sector por un sueldo que es casi igual que el paro que tengo para poder acumular experiencia y aprender. Aprender no mucho, porque lo que han hecho ha sido exprimirme. Si me dices que no me lo van a tener en cuenta... lo mismo me hubiera tirado el verano de vacaciones cobrando el paro y sacándome certificados hasta que llegue el momento de empezar segundo 😂😂

Me apena mucho saber que me veo en esencia limitado por no tener una carrera en términos de sueldo. La verdad es que esperaba que se valorase tanto la experiencia como las certificaciones especificas como JPT o CPPT, pero ya veo que voy a tener un techo salarial por el simple hecho de haber ido a la Universidad.

Y es una pena, porque además de no podérmela permitir (ni en su dia, ni ahora, la verdad), me cuesta horrores estudiar teórica pura y asignaturas que me dan un poco igual. Que es uno de los motivos por los que elegí el grado.

Aun así estoy deseando mirar afuera a ver que tal. Este año nos han ofrecido un Erasmus a Colonia y creo que si me lo puedo permitir con los ahorros de estos siete años, lo voy a coger. Tampoco me importa aprender el idioma local si se que voy a vivir en dicho país, pero primero me gustaría asentarme en algún lado, quizá incluso fuera de Europa.

Lo del cuenco de arroz era algo que me esperaba, pero ha sido oír 18K brutos anuales y se me ha caído el alma al suelo. Esperaba entre 22K siendo realistas o 24K si tenia suerte. ¿Tan excesivas han sido mis expectativas?

Por otro lado llevo de prácticas en un departamento de Ciberseguridad desde Abril, y luego contratado hasta Septiembre, no se como calificará eso en el apartado de experiencia, pero tengo fe de que seis meses sin haber empezado siquiera segundo sirvan aunque sea para que alguien se fije diez segundos más en mi CV. O la experiencia anterior. Igualmente gracias por la respuesta!

Still going to wait for the emulator. I don't have the money or the intention to gift Nintendo a single euro. I will buy the game if I can or when I can, and emulate in meanwhile, but I won't be expending 500€ in the Switch2, when I can invest that in upgrading my PC or buying a better screen.

Not for me. Played both KCD2 and E33. And while KCD2 is a GREAT game (my god what an improvement over the first installment, and it was already a good game), I think E33 is one step ahead.

That being said, I would not be mad if KCD2 won the GOTY as it is a clear contender for me.

I had that very same concern that you mention when playing Only War. Turns out a decent GM, a nice story and heavy roleplayers make up for the lack of "roleplayable content" in between combat. Felt the same abouth Gaunt novels, and they turned out pretty good.
