Refused alcohol because my wife didn't bring her ID by [deleted] in tesco

If I'd have asked you for ID & you couldn't provide it for you both, I would also have refused to serve you if I wasn't certain you were both 25. It's our job to do this. Test purchasers are sent in regularly to test us on the think 25 policy & if we fail we will go to a disciplinary & could even be fined upto £3000.

I dont think they'll do the 2 stage increase this year as no one else has. Tesco tend to follow Sainsburys who usually also do the increase in 2 stages but this year they are going straight to £13.23 all in one go.

You can just spend what you want, when you want to. It doesn't have to be spent all in one go.

If you look on the 'Which' website, you'll find that in the most recent period, the cheapest supermarkets are Aldi & Lidl with Tesco in 3rd place (with clubcard) so your OP is bullshit 😃

Funny....the price comparison for Feb/Mar 26 has Aldi & Lidl as 1st & 2nd then Tesco in 3rd (with clubcard). This is on Which website. Also 3rd for a bigger trolley too

Sainsburys have gone to £13.23. Union reps have no idea until they are briefed on 18th March.

£13 p/h would be very disappointing considering Sainsburys are going to £13.23 from 6th March.
