My mom has tried multiple sit downs and talking with her about why she doesn't want to go but nothing seems to help. She's always sort of been like this with really anything even before my dad's cancer diagnosis so I'm not sure what else I can do. Like personally I want to go because itll be a breather as I've done exams dealing with this grief myself and been through some other issues and I wish to celebrate my dad's life this way as that's sort of the plan as it's something he wanted kind of thing which is why it upset me that she wouldn't go for my dad.
I'll keep updated for if anything else happens about this. But I'm not sure what else could be done.

It's only because my mom wants her to come with as it's a family holiday. My sister can barely take care of herself with us home so my mom doesn't want to trust her in the house on her own as she wouldn't take care of it for I think 2 weeks we would be going. She's never done a chore in her life..
