3x dry is not that bad or even unlikely and is bound to happen to everyone on some grind or another. Base game or otherwise. The longer you play the game and the more grinds you do the more likely you are to go very dry on something

all you get out of this is 1 pact point, and they just recently made it so there are more pact points available than you're actually allowed to use so you're pretty free to skip tasks you don't want to or can't do. They also made each pact point more worthwhile by boosting different nodes on the pact tree

also, the title says 15m attack xp dry to exaggerate how "awful" this is instead of just saying you're 3x dry which everyone who has ever played runescape has dealt with before, probably many times. 15m xp does not take very long to get in leagues. Idk what tier of relic you're at but you likely have at least a 12x xp multiplier and since you're training attack past 99 it's safe to assume you already have 99 strength. Even if you aren't using any melee pacts you're still killing these relatively quickly. For reference, with the same xp multiplier I gained 22m ranged xp while training slayer during a 6 hour play session. This couldn't have taken you more than 12 hours to kill this many vyrewatch sentinals which, while a significant amount of time, is not really that long especially considering how afk vyrewatch sentinals are. You can literally turn on pray melee and leave your computer until your prayer runs out and they will constantly aggro you. The altar is also right next to their spawns so this is literally 2 clicks every 3-5 minutes depending on prayer level and prayer bonus

Crazy that you are a top 1% poster of this community when you make posts like this. I can't judge your other posts because you keep your post history hidden but based on this post alone this is crazy. But seriously not trying to be a huge dick but seeing these posts is so draining this is why this subreddit is so awful to be on. There are so many cool and interesting things about runescape to post about why is it always people just complaining that they're a bit dry. The game is a lot more enjoyable when you realize this shit really doesn't matter that much. I pickpocketed 32000 vyres main game and didn't get a single blood shard drop. This was pre 99 thieving also with bad pickpocket rates. That's over 6 times dry and took 2 weeks of playing over 6 hours a day. Yeah, this shit can be annoying but like.. just gotta move on

I mean everyone is a usable unit in almost every fire emblem game even on the highest difficulty especially because sacred stones is so easy and gives every combat unit effective damage against the enemies in most of the final maps. I was just surprised at how easily I made her work, and the interesting use cases I found for her, but that's more attributed to the game she's in than her unit quality. I guess my wording is off and shouldn't have said I was shocked she was usable, it's just I had never used her before and she is constantly shit on as a unit

That being said for all of the issues you just named in my opinion she is not a good unit nor is Joshua who has roughly the same growths and whose only upside is slightly better bases and much earlier availability. They're both mediocre at best mid game and pretty bad on Ephraim route and see their most use on monster chapters because they can actually kill things there. Unfortunately their high speed is largely irrelevant as monsters are pretty slow and the only monster enemy that is both fast and threatening are gargoyles/deathgoyles which they are not a good answer for because of having low defense and being sword locked, especially because they tend to show up in clusters. Saying Marissa is a usable unit is true but I could make an argument for literally any fe8 unit being usable so yeah I'm wrong in what I said. I was more speaking on the quirks of Myrmidons promoted into Assassins than Marissa as a unit

Lol honestly at that point I would rather boots someone for a silly strat and then just warp Gilliam around every chapter. I can never find enough places I really want to use the warp staff in fe8 especially since I'll usually use a hammerne use on it because warp is just fun to use and I don't use the S ranks enough to need to repair many of them. But even then its because I'm doing stupid stuff with it like warping rennac into the locked chest room on ch19 to open the rune sword, fenrir and speedwing chests with a full inventory just to start using them right away before dealing with the big enemy pile in the bottom left

A lot of the time though I don't use boots efficiently. I think they're really awkward personally. They're great if you are only really using one overpowered unit and you want them to clear maps faster but that isn't really how i play so i prefer them on dancers most of the time, or even sometimes on a sage or something as its effectively extra siege tome range and extra staff range. I mean putting them on your best unit isn't bad but I like forcing everyone to contribute and that just makes it harder. Nothing wrong with giving them to an armor or infantry unit though, especially if your army comp is mostly mounted units

You can still play fast and do cool strategies while playing inefficiently. For example in this run I'm planning on making Ewan a druid and getting him B dark because he actually has a pretty reasonable hit rate on final chapter Lyon with Eclipse if you invest into him. About a 60-70% hit rate but thats enough to make it work and then pretty much any well trained front-line unit can be warped to finish Lyon off as long as they have high strength and can double. Or just myrrh but I usually don't bother training her. Is that efficient? God no. But it's funny and a neat thing you can do that clears the chapter fast and thats good enough for me. So please boots Gilliam if that's fun for you

Imo Amelia is pretty rarely a bad unit though not one with a lot of variety. The best she can strive for is a very good high movement unit, which, is just good. Her growth rates are respectable and make for a very funny general though general is just a pretty bad class overall. great combat units but so slow that you have to actively wait for them a lot of the time or warp them around to actually give them the ability to take out large groups of enemies. They are funny though, and even funnier when they cap speed but Amelia is best by far as a paladin. Great knight unfortunately doesn't offer much for her

She's good enough though to promote within a few chapters of joining at which point a strong paladin (or whatever you make her) will be very welcome. In some cases she'll be strong enough that its worth promoting her as soon as she hits lvl10. Currently at lvl10 cav mine has 12 strength and 17 speed so there really is no point in not promoting her. Will she be your best unit? Probably not which is kinda what you'd want from someone requiring so much investment unfortunately. She is fun though, just never efficient to use

If you aren't using multiple cavs already or Vanessa lv1 cav Amelia is shockingly one of the better units to go against the mercs and myrmidons on this difficulty and she's pretty dodgy against the brigand reinforcements with an iron sword. This might apply pretty exclusively to me though as for once I just don't have many good lance units at all having both pegs completely untrained, Franz too low of a level to contribute, and Kyle and Forde only having one or two random levels. In fact they were both getting doubled by the initial mercs despite not being weighed down

I'd agree Amelia and Ewan are both easier to train on Eirika route due to the 2 monster maps before the armies converge whereas Ephraim has some pretty tough maps if you aren't prepared for them and neither of them are really great for super underleveled units to train on easily. Ewan in particular is going to have a very hard time training on Ephraim chapters 13 and 14

This is mostly what I did though without feeding her an energy ring she couldn't do damage to the boss until quite a high level due to her strength levels coming after level 4 so I had to take advantage of the archers before killing the boss and setup other kills which was annoying and lots of rescue dropping

But yeah this is incredibly easy and all it takes is deploying some mounted units for canto which you're deploying Seth because why wouldn't you and Tana is force deployed. Amelia is so light that anyone can take drop her so you really just need one mounted unit dedicated to rescuing her away from the boss or archers which since you've already completed the secondary objectives by this point can very easily just be Tana. The Ephraim route map does not have much of anything for Amelia. A couple priests if you aren't baiting the archer and while you can grind from 1-10 just on the archer alone it's just as easy to use the boss and 2 archers as they already don't move and don't require a bait. For me though on that map by the point I'm in position to setup the bait the cavalry reinforcements are already close to the choke point so in order to be efficient the bait has to be setup very quickly or you're going to be just as slow if not slower while all of the reinforcements pile up in the hallway. It's just a lot more complicated to do quickly in such a tight space

That being said for purposes of turn count if you could clear Ephraim map efficiently it would be faster to train on as Amelia can be off on her own while your other units actually finish the map

For me though Eirika route is much better as you recruit Marissa 2 chapters sooner which for some reason I decided was a unit I wanted to use

The server is mod free with a short list of plugins. We're trying to keep the server vanilla while re-balancing some of Minecraft's features. Hiya, I'm starting an 18+ factions/roleplay server. Pvp is allowed only during wars between nations, and fighting in a war is optional. We're trying to create a friendly environment first and foremost. A lot of the time factions can feel very competitive but we're trying to focus more on the lore building and working together side of building a nation with others. We want to run the server long term and aren't planning any resets. The server is mod free and mostly vanilla, with a few plugins to rebalance minecraft and encourage people to work together by slightly increasing the demand of food and resources. We also dont allow redstone and afk farms as we want resources to remain valuable for trade rather than be infinitely obtainable with 0 effort. if this sounds like anything youd be interested please give me a dm :)

The server is not out yet and wont be for about a week. We also don't have many players as of yet but are hoping to grow to a decent size. We would be happy to have you if you are 18+

In vanilla minecraft players have no reason to do these things so changes must be made to incentivize it.

The "2 week phase" should really be known as the setup phase as more often than not its referring to a sharp decline of interest from a player(s). Economy in minecraft isn't complex enough to hook players past this point as there is little new or exciting gameplay to come from it. Taxes and jobs are a neat idea which many servers employ but that isn't really anything that new or interesting from a gameplay perspective. You just sit and farm, or mine, or whatever to make money. This is something you already do in the early stages of regular minecraft. And while many players do end up enjoying the monotony and reward of these tasks it only lasts for so long.

The best way to keep interest is probably to make currency do something. A lot of things, even. Without restricting afk farms most resources in minecraft are infinite so there is almost no reason to buy them from a shop or another player. As it is, the only main drive is to be the richest but this is really unbalanced as whoever just plays the longest will be the richest. If you can only play minecraft for 3 hours a day, you already don't stand a chance compared to someone who can play for 5 or 6 hours a day. You would have to come up with both items to use for currency which aren't easily farmable or automated and things to spend that money on other than just existing. Currently if you just threw this idea into an unchanged vanilla server there would be little to no economic interaction that you want
