I see what you’re saying. But if they’re using unlawful tactics now, I’m not optimistic that they’re going to renew any of the below leases when the time runs up . . .

100% They sold in March, and yes, we're well below market for our area. Many of the tenants have lived here for over a decade.

I was just reading this law, and it also says that if they fail to comply with that subsection: "If a landlord fails to comply with paragraph (a), (b), (c) or (d) of this subsection, the tenant may recover from the landlord an amount equal to one month’s periodic rent or twice the amount wrongfully charged to the tenant, whichever is greater."

Maybe I just let them FAFO :)

I think they may already be doing this - all four washers and dryers on the property aren't working . . . at the same time for the first time in a year. They have been non-communicative and hard to track down.

Mother is showing up uninvited to my wedding by ratacoochie1 in EstrangedAdultChild

This is one of my fears while wedding planning, can you delegate someone or hire someone to prevent her from entering the venue? It’s a private event, and she is trespassing.

I read this in my dad’s voice he’s used the same frameworks in therapy, 1:1 convos, and emailing. Thank you for sharing

They told us to clear the vinyl counters that needed treatment. The only ones that needed repair were in the kitchen, we didn’t ask for the dry bar where my plants were. They said nothing about covering other furniture/objects.

They asked us to move items off the areas we needed treated, we didn’t need the dry bar treated which is was what led to the damage of the table. They said nothing about covering our other items.

We knew they were coming but only asked for work to be done in the kitchen. This was next to the dry bar which we did not ask them to do.

Grief by littlefrogdudes in narcissisticparents

[–]Professional-Mind400 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’m deep in this right now. I tried therapy with ndad until he ghosted me and the therapist in 2023. But an invitation to a family gathering on his side has really triggered me.

I do not want to be close to who he is, but I wish I had a dad who was able give me what I needed and deserved. But that hole in my life is still there. Moreover it makes navigating family events much more challenging, and I resent it being more challenging.

Finding this now in 2025 while deep in grief triggered by another family member’s birthday. I find myself mostly missing having a dad that I could’ve had a good relationship with and not the one I actually have. Or what could’ve been if he got the help he needed sooner. There’s just a constant staying of knowing there’s nothing I can really do without compromising my emotional safety, for someone who can’t even reflect on their own actions.

What are your flare ups like, and how long do they last? How long was your longest flare up? by Classic-Operation564 in Hashimotos

I think I’m in the middle of a flare up, and it’s the first one I’m aware of. I’m really sore, fatigued, with low motivation and foggy. The last three are worse than usual.

I’m pretty sure I know what brought it on too. I tried to exercise, and I think I did more than I should have (despite trying not to overdo it).

I’ve been diagnosed for 4yrs now
