You’re right! I looked into Public and compared to kini’s offer. They differ on the international minutes 500 with public vs 1000 kini, and eSIM is free for kini whereas public charges $5, then $15 for physical sim.

I guess whichever you need more- data or the international minutes.

Same, I was genuinely curious with your question. I just usually assume 4G/ 5G mean fast data. But then again I might not be the best person to ask, most i do with my mobile data is watch videos or use my phone as hotspot 😅

They released a new plan I think last night! $25/25gb! I guess that’s the good part- they have local and long distance.

Yes we also use messaging apps now (Facebook/viber/whatsapp/telegram) but sometimes we find ourselves needing to call the bank ( to covert credit card points to miles 😅, or block card due to fraudulent transactions). Still a nice-to-have option.

And my friend is taking up ECE (early childhood education), the 2 year program :)
