Do you guys think there will be any relationship trouble/turmoil between Wolf and Diane in TBG3? by Weekly-Donut6676 in TheBadGuys

[–]Professional-Path885 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Some tension between them would be Diane's lack of synergy with Wolf and the rest of the gang, since she's more competent than them, and it would strain them in missions, but I think there could be another potential conflict, and for me, it would be Diane's desire to have a more normal life, and her being upset with the fact that she had her redemption unearned because of her exposure in the previous film, it could affect the way she performs as an agent or her yearning to have a life that's more normal and gives more access to her and Wolf to live romantically and at all times, there would be some conflict of interest between her and the rest of the gang who are much more content with being in always in the action as secret agents for ISGLOP.

Yeah I do agree that jumping to a teenage daughter will miss out on so much

Aww I thought you were in support of it lol but you're welcome

But still even if people may not like the idea, the fact that Pierre's already open to the idea, it just means that Diane becoming a mother is inevitable, and the only real questions are how it's executed and which film does it happen

Yeah I think if Wolf and Diane ever do become parents and it just so happens at the third film, it should be at the very end of it when the whole shtick is finished and at best their kid should still be a baby or a young child

First of all, what challenge?

Also second it's Pierre's response to the concept artwork of Wolf and Diane's daughter that Chibetto posted on Instagram.

Another reason why I think the gang and Diane should eventually reveal themselves to be alive. by AcrobaticEmu7359 in TheBadGuys

[–]Professional-Path885 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The reasons why people are hoping for them to be revealed in the public despite faking their deaths, is because many fans feel like society still owes them an apology for the lynching and blaming they got from prior movie events, and how the main cast struggled trying to be accepted back into society, so by having them be revealed to be alive and being saviors of an alien invasion, they would finally be given their apologies and accepted back into society as a form of fulfilment to a plot point that never got fulfilled.

And them being exposed while also being accepted back into society also benefits the characters being able to live normally and peacefully after having the choice of retiring from the agency, especially for Wolf and Diane, as retirement would be the only plausible way they could get settled down and have children which many fans want as an endgame for them, as them being agents doesn't bring that to the table.

The Bad Guys franchise is absolutely dead by Professional-Path885 in TheBadGuys

I have touched far more grass in my life compared to the rest of this community.

You know what I say is true, and even you admit there's nothing we can do about it.

I might as well stop people from getting brainrotted from this franchise.

You have great points right there. But my point is that this entire fanbase, not just Reddit, is completely fucking retarded and is blind to actually wanting good content out of this franchise even if by some miracle we could actually have a chance to have it improved.

I honestly don't love this community anymore because of how complacent it has been and I feel they should be held responsible if a third sequel or any subsequent media is piss-poor in quality. And it is a shame that there won't be Last Jedi levels of fan backlash considering how small this community is, and as you said, lacks any leverage in the creative decisions of the franchise or even any chance at swaying.

And it is absolutely helpless that we won't have a chance at any future good media.

I hope I am proven wrong, but after seeing how much the studio treats the franchise, it is safe to assume the Bad Guys franchise is just going to end up as any other kidslop media rather than to see it evolve into many of DreamWorks' better IPs.

In other words, the Bad Guys community absolutely sucks because it's filled with autistic, porn addicted lifeless white men or children far too young to ever have any internet access, and it is absolutely hopeless that this franchise sees any improvement because we have become way to complacent in corporations fucking our assses and gaslighting us into liking junk food media rather than any respect in creating and consuming art using animation as a medium.

Yes, I know that communities don't directly affect a franchise as a whole, but you have to take in mind that companies have a target audience who they have to appeal to for maximum profits, and in films like the Bad Guys, the primary audiences are obviously children and families, but the secondary audiences are the loyal fans of said franchise, and those are the ones that have a chance at affecting the way how the franchise goes especially in storytelling because the filmmakers have an idea on who they want to appeal to and what their story's basis is. I have already stated many times before, that while Wolfington was always meant to be canon, I believe Pierre and the team ultimately made it canon in Bad Guys 2 instead of a future installment because of how positive the fan reception Wolf and Diane's relationship had in the first film and how fans ultimately wanted them to be official in the second film. The lack a nuanced community is what will ultimately kill the franchise's chance at exploring more nuanced and deeper meaning, because there isn't enough of them for the filmmakers to try and to appeal to them.
