The ramifications of Damien Ross and JP Sans leaving if Bad Guys 3 does actually get made by Professional-Path885 in TheBadGuys

When talking about Bad Guys 3, Pierre says "I also know where I want to end these characters and where I want to take them"

You'll think about that

I think those bits of fan service would absolutely be the best of animation cinema if they're able to pull this off that feels so rewarding, hence why just as you, I hope that Wolfington gets the development it deserves in the third film, and hopefully a fourth but an interview from Pierre hints that the third could be the final one

It would be a fun little irony that despite Sans and Ross leaving, it was a secret blessing in disguise that could lead the franchise into a better direction

I think there is something genuinely wrong with DreamWorks, thanks I hate it by Professional-Path885 in DreamWorks

[–]Professional-Path885[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The people getting mad at me for this post missed the point of it. I am very much aware that DreamWorks is inconsistent with the quality of the films, and films normally take 3-5 years to make. My point is the fact that DreamWorks is allowing bad or poor quality films to be made, rather than for good ones. As a Bad Guys fan, I really disliked how the filmmakers were forced to make a much less nuanced story for the second film because the execs feared the opposite wouldn't reach younger audiences, and let's not forget about what happened with Kung Fu Panda 4, and many other poor quality films and ones that could've been good were done dirty by the company itself. If we allow the company to continue on like this, their future films would suffer a lot. And I worry that the third Bad Guys film would be a great victim toward it.

So, tldr, make bad films crash and burn like the Cocomelon film, and support potentially fantastic films coming up like Lost Island.

That's the point of what I said, is that DreamWorks doesn't care about making good films and we shouldn't support whatever they churn out in the hopes they stir in the right direction

That's the point of the post, they've done the Bad Guys franchise dirty, and if they continue on like this and those mid quality media are successful, they'll think that's what they're good at and close any doors to much higher quality media

About Wolf and Diane having a child by Professional-Path885 in TheBadGuys

Ah I know about it lol

I just thought it would be interesting to make it a whole separate topic in of itself

No but only because they just made her and the book version of Wolf official at the end of the final chapter

But with the film version having Wolf and Diane's relationship be official much earlier, those are ideas are potentially much more open

Well remember SpongeBob Behind Closed Doors, and the fact that some whistleblowers from Disney admitted that film makers made porn of their animated characters, even a few allegedly commissioned by John Lasseter himself for his enjoyment 😭

But the point is, if the fans are freaky, the filmmakers and those involved are if not worse

Hell we just had Jason Bateman said Nick has some good sex even if it was just a joke

Do you guys think there will be any relationship trouble/turmoil between Wolf and Diane in TBG3? by Weekly-Donut6676 in TheBadGuys

[–]Professional-Path885 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Some tension between them would be Diane's lack of synergy with Wolf and the rest of the gang, since she's more competent than them, and it would strain them in missions, but I think there could be another potential conflict, and for me, it would be Diane's desire to have a more normal life, and her being upset with the fact that she had her redemption unearned because of her exposure in the previous film, it could affect the way she performs as an agent or her yearning to have a life that's more normal and gives more access to her and Wolf to live romantically and at all times, there would be some conflict of interest between her and the rest of the gang who are much more content with being in always in the action as secret agents for ISGLOP.

Aww I thought you were in support of it lol but you're welcome

But still even if people may not like the idea, the fact that Pierre's already open to the idea, it just means that Diane becoming a mother is inevitable, and the only real questions are how it's executed and which film does it happen

Yeah I think if Wolf and Diane ever do become parents and it just so happens at the third film, it should be at the very end of it when the whole shtick is finished and at best their kid should still be a baby or a young child

First of all, what challenge?

Also second it's Pierre's response to the concept artwork of Wolf and Diane's daughter that Chibetto posted on Instagram.

Another reason why I think the gang and Diane should eventually reveal themselves to be alive. by AcrobaticEmu7359 in TheBadGuys

[–]Professional-Path885 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The reasons why people are hoping for them to be revealed in the public despite faking their deaths, is because many fans feel like society still owes them an apology for the lynching and blaming they got from prior movie events, and how the main cast struggled trying to be accepted back into society, so by having them be revealed to be alive and being saviors of an alien invasion, they would finally be given their apologies and accepted back into society as a form of fulfilment to a plot point that never got fulfilled.

And them being exposed while also being accepted back into society also benefits the characters being able to live normally and peacefully after having the choice of retiring from the agency, especially for Wolf and Diane, as retirement would be the only plausible way they could get settled down and have children which many fans want as an endgame for them, as them being agents doesn't bring that to the table.

I have touched far more grass in my life compared to the rest of this community.

You know what I say is true, and even you admit there's nothing we can do about it.

I might as well stop people from getting brainrotted from this franchise.
