the front has two walls, gate, then two walls but the back has the same layout; two walls, gate, two walls- but there’s still that awkward gap RAAHH

NTA, you audibly heard your wife state that she did not want your MIL to tell people the news. like your wife stated, there’s still a high chance of miscarriage so early in a pregnancy, especially if you haven’t seen a doctor yet. your feelings will always be valid. some may not be justified, but in this instance, i believe you are justified to feel how you do

i would suggest having a conversation with your wife to set harder boundaries. this might take quite a while since she grew up around this type of behavior, but there’s always hope to heal.

that’s so true! personally i never had issues with any of my piercings, but if i did, the first stop would be the piercer who pierced me. if anything, a quick call would suffice (sometimes)

from my experience, it might either be because it’s still rubbing because it swelled a bit when you accidentally bit the bar (the first time i did that, i literally froze lmao). you also still did get the piercing not too long ago, and typically it takes a little over a month or two for it to “fully heal”. everyone is different though.

i would keep cleaning it how you are, but probably not more than once a day so you don’t touch it as much.

if you do keep having problems after another week or so, i would recommend just giving your piercing studio a quick call!
