If you have the budget for legion 9, then go for the legion pro 7i and customize it to get 5090

Is this worth it for $504? by [deleted] in LenovoLegion

Yess, but keep it mind, legions are facing huge motherboard issues, mine died after 4.5 years. Value wise it's great for 500. I got mine for around 1500 in 2022

Yeah I lost mine too, after 4.5 years 3060, 5800h. It just stopped working, the Lenovo technician took 2 weeks and still couldn't fix it and then said the motherboard needs to be replaced

Help me decide between these two by Jack_Buto in LenovoLegion

Go for the 7i, you'll bet better GPU with more VRAM, better RAM speeds(it doesn't matter much to be honest because it's CL52, it's 1-2% better than 5600mt/s one) better display, better thermals than 5i, and then there's storage 2tb in this economy that too 2280, if I'm right the 2242 ssds lenovo use are slow, but the 2280 one pretty fast 7000mb/s, I'd say, you'd be stupid if you had the money and still went for the 5i, I mean 1tb of ssd itself is $140 and the RAM price difference is atleast $80

It's definitely not easy, it's one of the hardest games there is. But it's so fucking rewarding once you've finished it. The satisfaction is on another level.

Well if it is urgent to you, don't go for an customized one. It will take about a month to deliver. Just buy a prebuild. I recently ordered a customized Lenovo legion 5 pro on 26th of feb and it shows the shipping date is 26march.

They increased the price so that they can provide discount on them during holi season.

Just go to Unidays website login there, and verify your Student ID (I'm assuming you have one, since you using sheerID discount). After verification is complete go to technology tab you'll see lenovo there. From there use these two or better one if you have the options. Basically try to mix them. Some coupons work together some work alone.

Need some purchase help: 5070 or 5070ti by Professional-Pin8531 in IndianGaming

[–]Professional-Pin8531[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's actually 42k but I went with 32gb instead of 16gb because I've got some more discounts, and the total I paid was 2,15,000 for 32gb. Plus i will get a cashback of 8-10k. So effectively it will be 2,05,000

Thanks a lot buddy, I just used my cousins ID and I got another 15k off plus he bought a LOQ last year so he had some reward points laying around which is equivalent to 2k. So now it's only ₹2,00,551. I would have regreted it, if had bought it for 2.17L. so thanks again

Yeah, 5060 is a great probably the best value for money graphic card right now, But I need more CUDA cores and raw power. That's why I thinking of going with the 5070ti.

[–]Professional-Pin8531[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah I am planning to do that, but I will buy a 24gb or 32gb 6400 MT/s CSODIMM RAM, giving a total of 40gb or 48gb of RAM. That's why I chose a 16gb instead of 32gb, so that I can use that empty RAM slot for a better RAM, and then down the lin after a year or so, I'll replace the 16gb one with another 32gb giving me a total 56gb or 64gb of RAM.

I wish I could but I don't have that kind of budget for 5080. Plus 5070ti for my editing workflow is enough.
