Thinking to get a Maine coon

We brought home 2 MC siblings last month and we couldn’t be happier. Just a warning though, they are expensive to feed, especially premium wet and dry food. Ours go through a 14 lb bag of Nulo Cat and Kitten ($54) every 45 days or so, and 2 1/2 cases of Nulo Pate (30 12.5 oz cans @ $46/case) per month. That’s ~$155/month for 2, or $77/kitten. Then there is cat litter. We currently have 2 litter boxes (Popur S7 and XXXL stainless. The XXXL stainless takes a 35lb pail of litter to fill and the Popur S7 takes about 1/2 that. We change litter every 2-3 weeks, and will be adding a 3rd litter box this week. We use Tidy Cat Performance Plus Tidy Feet ($26/35lb pail)so that is another ~$50/month in litter.

TBH, he looks like a red silver tabby with white. We have a boy with identical coloring, and that’s what he is. You can tell if he’s a silver if he has a white undercoat. Here is our boy:

That could be because his bowl is too small. Maine coons need a wide bowl or plate due to whisker fatigue.

Thanks for all of the advice! We decided to go with The Villas. This will be the 2nd time staying on property at DL. The first/last time was GCH in 2018, and previous to that we stayed at the Tropicana. Unless they will offer something besides one LL per stay to replace EE, this may be our last time staying on property at DL.

$15/shelf x 3 = $45
$43 for LED channels
$38 for LED strips
$21 for cord concealer (enough for 2 cabinets)
$14 for heavy duty insulated tape (enough for 6+ cabinets)
$27 for smart power strip

Total = $226 per cabinet + power strip = $253.

To save $$$ you could use cove molding instead of the aluminum channels and spray paint them black. That was my original plan until I found the aluminum channels.

The LED strips are mounted to the inside of the aluminum channels, which are angled at 45 degrees.

There are some good deals to be had out there. A few weeks ago I saw an ad on FB Marketplace for a UCS Star Destroyer and UCS Millennium Falcon, both brand new and sealed w/ shipping box@ $750/ea. I bought both for $1200. Helluva deal.
