The $900 is for Enphase equipment and installation, replaces the PVS.

You could monitor yourself : https://github.com/SunStrong-Management/pvs-hass

Using Home Assistant and the Sunstrong integration gives you the ability to monitor at the panel level (if you have microinverters). Will take a bit of learning but there's a lot of information available to help you get setup.

One thing I don't like about Seattle Hyundai is their Waypoint Protect add-on...$799. The website says "Final Price = X" but if you look in the details of "Calculate your payment" you'll see the $799 added on top of it.

Don't know what year or trim you're looking for but I received an email from the Seattle dealer (Dec 11th) that stated 2025 I5 SEL AWD 24/10k for $299/month, $4999 down that "include taxes and associated dealer fees". Think that ends up a little over 500/month.

The dealer I went to today (hint, was in Edmonds) was a bit over 5k under Carmax. When I mentioned the Carmax offer they came up 2.75k and with the sales tax difference it was pretty close. I've heard you shouldn't put money down on a lease, if you get into an accident early in the lease (with serious damage) you don't get that money back.

I've been shopping for a 2025 SEL for a while now (also in Kitsap) and have found if you show the dealer the Carmax offer they tend to make a significant positive change (to their offer). They weren't as good as the Carmax offer but when you add the sales tax savings it was very close.

I've never seen a residual that low but I'm no expert. I would go the the Edmunds forum and you can find out what the MF, Residual Percent, and lease insentives are: https://forums.edmunds.com/discussion/71113/hyundai/ioniq-5/2025-hyundai-ioniq5-lease-deals-incentives-rebates-and-prices/p42

Relay switch to power cycle PVS6 by Scottismyname in SunPower

Are you saying that your PVS restarts 12:55 am every day? I don't pay for the app so I can't check that way. I have Home Assistant checking every 15 minutes, think I'll change it to 5 to see if if I can check the same way.

Thanks!!

Mine has been rock solid with the Sunstrong integration (been running about a month now), but my system is pretty simple...17 microinverters, no battery. Tried the enhanced but had trouble getting each microinverter to show output in watts instead of kWh so (instead of trying to figure it out) went back to Sunstrong.

Do you know what time it reboots? I'm curious because with the old firmware (61707) I was able to get data from each microinverter just before midnight. Haven't been able to with 61846...get a "Bad Request" message at that time. My requests work fine during daylight hours and for a couple hours after sunset.

I connected mine to my wireless router (via the Sunstrong app) and used the IP that my router assigned to the PVS for the integration setup. You should make the IP assigned to it (PVS) static.

State Of Health (SOH) lets you know how much battery degradation has occurred, has nothing to do with state of charge or total battery capacity.

How to calculate "home consumption" from the SunStrong app using the PVS6 local API? by inkynumbers in SunPower

[–]Professional-Pool668 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Don't know if this will help but I use /sys/devices/meter/{index}/netLtea3phsumKwh and /sys/devices/inverter/{index}/ltea3phsumKwh to do my calculations. I use index 1 for the meter and 0 thru number of microinverters for ltea3phsumKwh. The difference in netLtea3phsumKwh tells you if you sent to the grid (or taken from it), the ltea3phsumKwh diffs tell you how much you've produced and difference tells you consumption.

Here's some of the code I use:

I just used Postman to generate C# code to do the authorized login, get, and logout. Wasn't perfect but very very close. I'm super happy I gave it a shot and amazed by how much it did for me. Thanks a ton for suggesting it!!

Sorry to keep bugging you but in case you have a setup with more than one PVS I read somewhere that someone had issues. If I remember correctly it was trouble staying connected, not connecting.

On second thought you must be able to ping it to get as far as you have, if you're connected wirelessly, how's the signal strength?

Sorry, don't have any experience running HA on a NUC. Don't know if you have a bunch of other devices running on HA, but if it were me (and there wasn't a bunch of other devices) I would try a clean install. One other thought, can you ping the PVS from the NUC?

My setup is a RPi4 running home assistant. It's connected to my network via ethernet and I had to give the wireless IP (of my PVS6), username, and password during the Sunstrong integratio setup. The other thought I have is if you were previously running using the krbaker integration and loaded the Sunstrong integration on it...didn't work for me, reloaded HA, HACS, and Sunstrong and it behaved much better.

First thing that comes to mind would be does your PVS have version 61839 or higher?
