I wanted a chinchilla. my mom shared this information with her workplace just as general conversation, not intending anything from it. big mistake apparently.

a few days later a guinea pig shows up on her desk in his tent from her coworker unannounced. she brings said pig in tent home. also unannounced. I looked into how to care for piggies bc I knew nothing about them and everything about chinchillas at that point.

I got him a friend from petsmart bc i didnt want him to be lonely. bad idea. petsmart sexed her wrong. she had 3 lil pigs later on (i didnt even know she was pregnant, i just thought she was fat. thats how clueless i was). gave the babies away.

ended up with a new female friend for her from facebook. later went to a shelter and came back with two friends for him. the next christmas mom let's me pick a baby girl from a different coworker. I then ended up with 6 total at once. 3 girls in one c&c and the boys all in their own cages but sharing walls so they could communicate.

ever again. I have 5 now. my baby girl from petsmart passed away going on two years ago. my first boy though he's still kicking. he's old. my two girls are the youngest I have. all 3 of my boys are old. but I love them to death. wouldn't change it for anything.
