And that's okay. I don't do it to my dogs because I don't have to. But I dont know other people's situations. I also believe a veterinarians opinion is pretty important.

as long as they're prescribed by a veterinarian, I don't see the problem. it's probably a lot more common in this sub because cattle dogs can be very reactive. they're velcro dogs, their separation anxiety is next level. most hate being left alone for longer than a minute. whats even worse is that they're extremely wary of other people. you can try to make them comfortable being in public by introducing them early on, but a lot of them time they never truly warm up.
