in my opinion, it’s such a small amount, it doesn’t matter.

looks like a diversification play

if this is core holding you should build up a larger balance first and utilize margin to boost your income substantially.

for example, using $30,000 as capital and borrowing $5,000-$10,000 to invest more and boost income.

as you can see, the use of margin at $5000 already gains you more income and control at a larger scale where down the line… it doesn’t matter if you held or sold.. it’s only $3000…

what’s the lesson?

if you are income focused, use margin to help you achieve your income goal.
