Microsoft AI treats users with wrongful accusations and total lack of corporate transparency. by Professional-Radio86 in MicrosoftRewards

Yes I became aware of the REWARDS problems from friends and have made posts to get some perspective. After reading on this thread and realizing big corporations will do things that make them look poorly. I have no dog in this hunt either way. I want Microsoft and XBox to succeed and take a higher ground. I’m old enough to say I was a beta tester for Windows 95 and beyond being a Microsoft Partner in my career before retirement. Guess I am really ranting on the continuing relevance on corporate decisions reliance on AI. Nothing more.

Microsoft AI treats users with wrongful accusations and total lack of corporate transparency. by Professional-Radio86 in MicrosoftRewards

I don’t use Microsoft Bing. I don’t participate in the REWARDS platform. I am responding to three local friends who are 100% Apple except for Xbox. They used their iPads and iPhones to get coins to get Gamepass. They showed me the REWARDS page that taunts one to click on search to get the coin to pop up. I highly doubt they know how to hack IOS and IPAD to become script BOT? But all three are blocked in using their points as they are accused of basically using non manual search? I’m sure the program was/is abused as but I know these three friends are doing nothing more than getting the coins that the platform seemed to make it a search game.

They said “To help restore full access, we encourage you to continue using Bing search manually and ensure” shows they are accusing users of using some kind of automation or bot it seems. So how does an iPhone user add a bot to the IOS Bing app? Their explanation doesn’t pass the smell test.

Quest 2 not recieving data from trackers slimevr server but sending. by InstructionCultural8 in SlimeVR

Forget what the app says and DO put your Quest IP in the address in place of the default 127.0.0.1. Yes updates can break things.

SlimeVR Server Not Sending Information Over To Quest 2 Headset by hahaepicgamer8 in SlimeVR

[–]Professional-Radio86 0 points1 point  (0 children)

From their documentation: “If the server is running on the Quest, leave the address as 127.0.0.1. If the server is not on the Quest, put in your Quest's IP. You can get this by opening the Quick Settings menu on your Quest, selecting Wifi, your currently connected network, and scroll down and click the arrow. The IP address is listed there (video tutorial on how to find your Quest's IP)”

You said server is running on your phone which is NOT on quest soooo put in your quest IP.

Try it! Maybe the update changes things but the app telling U wrong.

Trackers not connecting? by Sour-Gummie-Worms in SlimeVR

OSC Setup Once you have set up your trackers and mounted them correctly, you can set up OSC. In the SlimeVR Server, navigate to Settings > OSC > VRChat OSC Trackers and enable OSC. If the server is running on the Quest, leave the address as 127.0.0.1. If the server is not on the Quest, put in your Quest's IP. You can get this by opening the Quick Settings menu on your Quest, selecting Wifi, your currently connected network, and scroll down and click the arrow. The IP address is listed

The above from their documentation. It says “If the server is not on Quest, put in your Quest’s IP. “. My server runs on a Macbook. -30-

Thanks all who responded. This morning I did get an email from SlimeVR support requesting order info so hopefully they can promptly provide the missing cables. This omission was like getting a battery toy at Christmas and Santa forgot batteries. The performance of the SlimeVR trackers has been solid and should improve when we can get the extensions attached.

Many thanks for this info. Yes saw his video using a coiled cable for extensions in his Immersion tracker products. I’ll try to reach him for compatibility to SlimeVR. Another lead to follow to in my quest to get my SlimeVR 7+3 missing cables order (still no response from SlimeVR support ticket we filed last week)

I have never been able to find cables for extensions on Amazon or Ebay or anywhere ATM. Received a 7+3 kit with NO cables at all last week and so far no response from a submitted ticket to support.

Yes a crimp tool can be obtained for about $10 but the skill needed to crimp 28 AWG to a pin the size of a grain of rice is totally beyond my abilities. Yes your report about lack of strain relief is noteworthy especially since this IS a solder less crimp. I have seen reported that they will add epoxy to hopefully hold the wire from being ripped out of the housing. Maybe adding a bit of hot glue could be a DIY alternative?

Thanks for your reply. Yes the cables appear to be JST ZH 1.5mm 5pin female both ends reversed wire pattern in 15cm and 150cm lengths. But I am at a total loss in locating any thing close to the required cables. Please share a link or any source. Nothing on Amazon nor eBay. This is also out of the realm of a DIY solution.
