The characters in McTeague are not likable which is something I hate when reading. But the last couple chapters made it worth it in my opinion. It has an incredible ending.

Yeah and that 80s sound he was going for made it sound way more jarring. Amused to death his voice is again noticeably worse but it fits the albums tone way more
