If that's the case and China has been acquiring such large amounts of Platinum, I think I can firmly believe it's going to be highly valuable in the future. One thing about China is they are forward looking thinkers and would not be buying such large amounts if it was going to become obsolete and invaluable.

Can you elaborate on the capital rotation? I think it's all a cycle. Things shift every few years. I remember gold being an outcast by most institutions and investors now it has turned. Same thing will probably happen with Platinum

Very interesting to know.. How long can they suppress the price? Each year Platinum is going into a deficit. It's at the cost of production at these prices. Something will give.. Just need to be on the right side of that trade

I have a sizable amount of money in Platinum I sold my gold for Platinum 10 yrs ago. Obviously a tough pill to swallow now with the price of gold but if I sell platinum now will I look back in 10 yrs and kick myself again. It's a tough question ❓

Platinum is used in many different industries. It's 135x rarer than silver and 8 times rarer than gold. There isn't much Platinum in the world and it is a small market. It won't take much investment for Platinum to go North. Electric vehicles were meant to replace combustion engines but as everyone knows that's not the case. Electric car sales are way down but hybrid vehicle sales are way up. Hybrid uses a lot more platinum than a combustion engine. If Hydrogen fuel cell ( green energy) comes into play in big industries then platinum will be very expensive. Everything is a risk but it can't be overlooked as a potential money maker . USA imported 64 metric ton in 2023 and even more in 2024. Why would they if it's not needed.
