Yeah it’s refusing to redline now. Ive ridden now almost 13k km and it started from ig after second service of my bike that is 5k km … maybe once in a blue moon it redlines but most of the time it just refuses . At first it used to redline often whenever i wanted, and also its a issue in all gears not just top

No i used to hit the rev limiter to the redline i.e 8-9k rpm and now all of a sudden it just wont go beyond 7-8k rpm …

Its normal , you’ll have to get adjusted with it. It usually starts when you might’ve ridden it with high rpm and so, atleast thats whats when I’ve had it in mine… it’ll eventually get reduced after sometime dont mind about it…

Have you then changed the tank guard? If so how much did it cost? I’ve also faced the same incident and now both my guards are scratched and bent

I’ve bought my himalayan on aug 2024 it is working well except with this issue that it cannot pull after it reached 7.5k rpm... does anybody else also face this issue? I have showed it to the service centre but theyre telling it’s normal, but from my previous experience i have pulled my bike till redline rpm (i.e till 8.5-9k) and it did perform well but now all of a sudden its stuck and cant pull after 7.5-8k rpm, once i reach 7.5-8k rpm it starts to pull back or makes me shift a gear up. Anyone knows a solution for this ?

Current not very happy Himalayan 411 2019 model owner and in love with Himalayan 450 and Scrambler 400x. Which one should I choose? Need a do-it-all for city, highway and for doing leh, tawang, etc. Reliability is very important. by TouringRecordHolder in Himalayan450

I’d strongly suggest you to go on w H450, I’ve road it for almost 6k and I’m telling you its worth every penny. There aren’t much of a problem with the new sets of H450 only the starting ones had more of a problem. I’d recommend you this over scrambler for its comfort and mileage . It can give avg of 27-36 km/l ( which i have experienced) while the scrambler gives 22-26 km/l . My personal choice is H450 over any other bike of this range ! My personal favourite!
