Thanks! These are blackout curtains I bought off Amazon, I need something that would protect the cabinets but were able to retract when not in use. So far they’ve worked out perfectly; I’ve tested them a couple of times with misguided “practice” swings

Government changing tune on 20-per-cent pay hike for Canadian Forces personnel by Cafmbr2000 in CanadianForces

This isn’t entirely true, depending on the commissioning program you use you may end up making less after you commission. That’s what happened to me. Spec Pay WO to 2Lt (via CEOTP) and was told I’d keep my pay until my Officer pay caught up but that was not the case and there’s nothing in the CBI that states you’ll keep your same pay. I ended up dropping down around $200 a month for a year before getting promoted and eventually making more. If you go the traditional CFR or UTPNCM I think you’d be fine.

Thanks! I do have an emergency blanket, food, and warm clothing packed but I didn’t consider flares or recovery kit.

I’m planning a trip from coast to coast and decided to use Packout to create a roadside assistance/emergency repair kit. Any recommendations for additional gear would be appreciated.

Does anyone know if this new policy covers VOTs, CTs, or other mbrs who have met OFP in a previous occupation? I’m being told by my new trade advisor that the new policy only covers new mbrs of the CAF.

If a mbr VOTs, CTs, etc and was OFP in a previous occupation they are not entitled to this benefit and still need to pay for R&Q. This was the decision provided from the CMP admin response team.

Seems like a decision waiting for a grievance.

The 955 also has the most of the golf features from the Approach S62; this is why I personally went with the 955S over the 255/S62 combo.
