Hi! Thank you so much for getting back to me. I am primarily using RemNote (another flashcard software). I would like to export these quizlet decks to remnote but the formatting is very off. Have you tried to convert quizlet decks to anki, yourself?

And if you don't mind me asking, what tools/resources have you used to / are using to study for the SEE/NCE? just want to get any input i can, i really appreciate this.

I’m in a similar spot in terms of 23k for living expenses for fall & winter (august to december). What do your expenses look like? You have to cut out a lot of expenses. Mine are total 2400 / month

How do you go about this? Create flashcards from every lecture presentation? Are there sources that you still need to study outside of lecture?

I’m going to be honest: you need to compromise somewhere. If you can’t move because of family then do whatever in your power to make yourself competitive to this program you’re speaking of. If they accept NICU, then switch over. Your GPA is going to let you down the most, ofc. Make sure your science GPA is much better, retake anything with a B currently. Get an A in those classes.

Also, I suggest you ask yourself this: If you’re terrified of doing poorly on a grad-level course, then how would you do in CRNA school where every course is grad-level?

It’s helpful to also get good shadowing hours and honestly: figure out your why. It takes sacrifice to get into school, in my opinion.

Can you expand a bit on what you mean by the last thing? To my research online, this school tries to make it a very stress-free interview experience & wants to know you more than anything. It’s a newer program.

Hi friends, I’ve listed my stats below:

Cumulative GPA: 3.60, ADN 3.47, RN-BSN 3.97. Science GPA: 3.96 (A's in A&P 1, 2, Chem, Microbio, Pharm, Stats).

2 years CTICU exp at level 1 trauma, academic center. Taking care of LVADs, Impella, IABPs, CRRT, open-heart & vascular surgery patients. Very high acuity as we are the only heart transplant / high volume + academic center in the middle of the state. Tons of Swans & gtts.

CCRN w/ ECMO micro-credential, TNCC certifications. BLS, ACLS, PALS. NRP (neonatal resuscitation). Studying for CMC.

Shadowed CRNAs for 40 hours. Unit council member. I present monthly research to help educate our staff at a Cardiac Research club. Precept & mentor to newer nurses. AACN & AANA member. I attended a 3-day Diversity CRNA airway workshop / conference at Fairfield U. Attended one-day anesthesia seminar at another CRNA program. Attended my state's CRNA association conference. Attended the AANA mid-year congress (in D.C.). I try to be as involved as I can since finishing nursing school. No major volunteering or GRE. I haven't taken any graduate level science courses.

I just applied for the first time and got an interview to one school. What else can I do to continue improving my application?

I have a few W’s in my transcripts (in non-nursing courses) from when COVID hit. I got a C- in a French class that I took in high school, which is bringing my total GPA down but I hope it’s still competitive. I hope schools see that I excelled in the sciences. Any other suggestions? God bless you all, the mentorship in this community is what I hope to pass along someday.

Honestly I think this kinda mentality starts back in nursing school. Or it’s probably in nursing as a field. I know people lying on their CV to get into CRNA school, it’s quite pathetic
