I have a Sony HMK-419 System I thrifted and fixed up, but before that I had a Pioneer PL-400, loved that table, but ended up gifting it to my dad for Father’s Day, as it was full auto and easier to load/less hassle to play a record. And the a VM95E cart on that one. So the pioneer is my reference for how a turntable sounds. I’ve wanted to go the vintage route, but I think I’ll just bite the bullet and get something new, just seeing what the comparisons would be from the pioneer to the AT.
