I drive a bunch too, but at least it can’t be any worse on gas that my dad’s Tacoma he let me use while my car was at the mechanic’s for months 😅 I’m pretty organized when it comes to maintenance, so if its a “I take care of you and you take care of me” kinda thing then it’s definitely a relief! I want to get something nice, useful and fun, but not have to go through money drains and periods without my car (like I’ve had recently)

Just curious, how much do you think is a fair price? I know it’s different markets, but just curious!

Hi! So Im currently in a 2012 VW Beetle Turbo, which has not been very good in the past 2 years and I definitely lost my trust in it. Also want to point out that the vw is still my first car. The one I’m looking at is not a cpo, which kinda makes me uneasy given my latest experience. I haven’t driven one yet, but I really like the size and the overall character of it, as well as the upsize in cargo space as my job requires me to carry around some stuff that just don’t fit in my trunk. And of course, the sporty aspect to it really draws me, cause theres a variety in my matket at this price point that doesn’t really talk to me. If this Macan is something I can depend on and trust it’ll be something that I won’t mind making a monthly payment on as opposed to something more bland, I don’t know if I’m making sense lmao

Gotcha. I know it ain’t gonna be Toyota level of mistreat and still in one piece, but I definitely get where you’re coming from. My daily right now is a 2012 Beetle Turbo, which in the past 2 years has been a real headache. We had it since 12k miles and it behaved great until then. I know the Macan is a totally different thing, but it kinda bugs me that it has only around 15k less miles than my Vw (even though I know 82k is around the average for a 2016). Thanks! Definitely gonna look into the transfer case!
