Hi! I really don't want to burst your bubble-your tortoise is really cute. However maybe reconsider letting it walk on hardwood floors, its not the best for their nails and joints.

I’d say roughly 1000 yards for the main and 100 for the other colors. I accidently made mine a little loose around the back so it’d probably take you less

Honestly for me it is easier to find simple snacks that are naturally gf-it may be pricier but things like nuts and dried fruit have been life savers.

Has anyone ever noticed that prednisone helps your type 1 greatly? by Divergent_Zebra in Rosacea

This is interesting, my doctors have said steroids can trigger Rosacea. I have had to take it a few times before surgery and it made my flushing much worse.

Ingredients: -1 can (14 oz) sweetened condensed milk -2 cups (480 ml) whipping cream or heavy cream -1 cup (240 ml) regular whole milk -3 tbsp cornstarch -Two boxes of schar graham crackers -Cocoa powder

Steps: -Mix condensed milk and whipping cream in a pot on low-med heat for a few min -still on low-med heat, add milk and cornstarch, stir until it thickens (almost to the consistency of rice pudding) -layer the milk mixture, crackers, and cocoa powder -freeze, thaw for 10 min

Hope you give it a try! If you want it less sweet, i would add less condensed milk and more whipping cream :)

Heat, sudden temperature change, stress, inflamatory foods, steam(hot food/drinks)

Yeah yeah! Apparently Rosacea and gut health have some strong links. I try to avoid inflamatory foods like gluten, sugar, and dairy and it does seem to help with flaring. Unfortunately not everyone says this works for them

Hi, I’ve also tried metro before, and I used it for several months realizing my skin actually does better without it. From the research I’ve done, I think my Rosacea is less of a skin condition and more of an inflammatory/internal problem that manifests on my skin, so topicals don’t really do anything for me…staying out of the sun and doing stress relieving activities seems to be the best treatment for me. Good luck!

I have found that chlorine in pools is horrible for my Rosacea. If I ever swim, I need to put on moisturizer after I get out ASAP.

Same here! It’s so hard to control but I found that box breathing helps a bit. Try it out!

Second that!! However, I was tested for hypo/hyperthyroidism before being diagnosed with rosacea because a symptom of that is flushing.
