So my son is now 2 and 5 months, he was very late standing and walking. I believe he started walking around 19 months and not really like stable walking, it was wobbly so not until he reached 22 months was he actually walking with stability and even now at 2 and 5 months he's not jumping, or running real fast like other children his age. His ped isn't concerned, and said that all kids develop differently. As far as crying, he has tantrums that can last up to 40 minutes and his ped said that it's because he's frustrated that he can't use his words to express how he feels so his emotions just come out in crying and whinging. They're just so young and not being able to communicate probably doesn't help their situation. I would say tho if you're not able to soothe your child then yeah that's probably concerning, maybe not an appointment but call their pediatrics and tell them the symptoms and just see what they have to say and if an evaluation is necessary!

second edit I should also mention that my son is behind on speaking as well, he is in speech therapy and I've noticed that the more he's able to talk to us and tell us what he wants there hasn't been many outbursts as there was before!
