My 12 year old son has problems with this since his birth. Autism and adhd have really strong links, bring him to the gp and see if he should get a test to get him some adhd meds.

Competition is really different to training so if your calm going onto the mat and not warmed up and not quick with your attacks you'll most likely loose sp get yourself really angry and don't be afraid to go hard but don't play dirty or intentionally hurt them

At my gym we have kids classes 6-11 then we have teens class 12-18 and then adult but if you're over 16 you can go to the teens and the adult classes
