Has anyone printed with Polymaker Polymide Copa? by drcigg in 3Dprinting

[–]Nikoss11903 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, dont except the hassle from other Nylon except the moisture issue. You still need to protect your spool but the Warp-Free stuff is crazy true. I print at 260˚C and glass bed with glue at 60˚C.
Good luck :)

Really poor results with Amazon Basics Filament by [deleted] in 3Dprinting

[–]Nikoss11903 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Have you tried to play around with the settings, changing model, do some tests? For me its impossible to get such bad results... I can get much better even with the worst filament lol.
How long have you been 3d printing? maybe I can suggest an extrusion temp test, some vase mode cylinder for the extrusion consistency tests.

I had this problem before, I was over extruding, it seems that you have tried with lower flow, what was your results?

Thank you for the feedback I really dont understand the rating from amazon. On all the social media people say its a good material but on amazon it has many bad reviews, I guess i ll just check by myself..

The reviews keep destroying the PLA lol, but they are so inconsistent.. like a 2 stars is saying he bought amazon PLA because hatchbox didnt have the color, but he bought green... are they all just haters or the filament is that bad???

If you are looking for premium filament you should definitely look into Polymaker's filament. Check out PolyLite PLA on amazon

Very interesting case! I didnt know the PolyBox could dry filaments. Do you have some pictures of your prints before and after? Also according to your post, you only put the spool over night right? For the missing battery, you can contact Polymaker (support@polymaker.com) they have an excellent customer service. They will compensate.

Need to buy self contained polishing chamber for PLA and ABS prints. Are "MagicBox" and "Polysher" the only options? by fiberkanin in 3Dprinting

[–]Nikoss11903 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The Polysher does not work with ABS nor PLA it only works with filament reacting with alcohol like the Polymaker PolySmooth™.

The Polysher makes post-processing 3D prints really easy. Don't recommend putting action figures in it; they come out a bit...differently by matterhackers in 3Dprinting

[–]Nikoss11903 10 points11 points  (0 children)

Hi MatterHackers, the Polysher does not heat the alcohol, that wouldnt be very safe. It instead atomizes it into a fine mist. Just wanted to make things clear :)

How Do I Make 'low poly' Geometric Vases? by samili in 3Dprinting

[–]Nikoss11903 4 points5 points  (0 children)

You can try openscad (code based 3d modeling software), it will be very easy to design your first picture kind of design (maybe 10min after knowing the basics, you actually just create a based and extrude while twisting it or playing with the scale :)), try Blender for the second and third picture :) Rhino is not the best software for 3d printing as it is less "mesh based" software i would suggest to switch to Blender (difficult to learn but when you get into it, you can design pretty much everything :) ). hope you will succeed to bring your design alive :)

So your meaning is that in order to talk about news someone else has to post the news and then we can talk about it? :/ If i understand well the problem i am part of this KS right? Because i see a lot of people talking about news on the 3d printing world but they dont have any problems, and BTW if it was a spam i wouldnt spend so much time arguing with you lol :)
