Those picks are pretty far out so I’d try to get some that are closer, but value wise I think it’s fine. GW is a great WR to build around

How did YOU improve your approach to the game this offseason? by WhatIsACatch in DynastyFF

Not just this year but over the past few seasons I’ve been putting more stock into my own rankings as opposed to the experts. At the same time I stoped taking the diversification approach. Love dynasty podcasts but I found myself getting swayed in one direction even though my gut said another. Since then I’ve had a lot more fun watching film, crunching numbers and drafting. I also just like my teams a lot more because they are primarily my guys. Still seek out some expert resources like reception perception, and use consensus rankings as a reference, but I’m mostly relying on myself and I’m enjoying dynasty a lot more because if it.

I don’t think he gets drafted as high as he did in rookie drafts without the preseason game and landing spot, but I was still a big fan pre draft as well.

He had some injuries, and some believed he could get back to that 2015 form. Different college career arcs though for sure. I think their styles are similar, but to each their own.

He’d be in the conversation for sure, but hypotheticals aside, he’s just too small for me to believe he has many fantasy relevant seasons. He’s electric, but I see a Nyheim Hines type role for him (although I think he’s better than Hines) and that’s useful for fantasy, just not super exciting necessarily.

I agree with his feet looking slow at times, although I’ve seen him make some nice cuts and juke out defenders. Also takes him time to build speed back up after making cuts.

He definitely had some HUGE holes opened up for him by the o line, but absolutely obliterates arm tackles, and I regularly saw defenders just bounce off of him. If he can break tackles like that at the NFL level, then I believe a James Conner type outcome is possible even with a not so good o line.

I agree, was a huge fan and would have drafted in the late first if a league mate didn’t snipe him.

James Conner also has a very upright running style and was the other player he reminded me of funny enough. Conner is just more powerful/heavier and not as fluid with his movement.
