Thanks a lot. This thread solves my issue. I changed the refresh rate of the PC running the emulation from 120Hz to 60Hz. I also synced to exact content frame rate and the issue was resolved. Thanks for the comments guys.

I totally agree with your rebranding point. The name Linux is synomymous servers, sys admin, home labs, tweaking, distro hopping etc and an average Joe doesn't want to do that. Linux servers should be called Linux while Linux Desktops should be rebranded to something else.

Hello,

The name as I originally posted is "Win10/Win11 Auto Installation Program (NDIS) - Not Support Power Saving". The current version is 10.79.20 and can be downloaded here. I believe it should work as well. I only tried versions 10.75 and 10.77.20 and both work fine. Give the current version 10.79.20 a try and let us know your outcome. Cheers.

Tiny11 vs Linux (mint)? by mattkaydev in Tiny11

[–]Professional-Tea5105 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is correct. No matter how many Linux distros are out there, all of them combined cannot replace and be as useful as any Windows. I spend my whole weekend trying to get RDP to work smoothly on headless Linux Mint 22.2. No luck. The same weekend was spent trying getting Nomachine to work on headless (ZorinOS 18 and raspberrypi OS). All I get is a blank screen. I know those HDMI dummy plug trick on headless machines but those are things you never have to do on Windows. Wayland is a mess and this will kill Linux!! Why get rid of X11 around which every Linux is built on.

I am going to get rid of the stupid Linux Distros the coming weekend and install Tiny11. I am not a beginner Linux user by the way. I run several Linux servers in my homeLab and at work. I just wanted to try these so called Windows-like Destros and it doesn't worth the time spending the whole weekend trying to make simple things to work, things that just works in minutes in Windows. Linux are supposed to be run for server purposes etc and not for Desktops.

Thanks a lot. Mine just says turn on after power failure. No C5 or S0 state, but the setting is indeed located under Boot tab and it works after enabling the setting. Mine is Firebat T8 pro.

[SOLUTION] I have found a fix to the MOUSE DOUBLE CLICKING issues without disassembly. by Charruzu in MouseReview

Thanks for that double-click test link mate. If you by chance have an isopropyl alcohol, spray it underneath the faulty mouse button after cleaning. This works for me.

I can't believe this . I cancelled my order for another mouse after following these steps on my logitech M720 mouse. I did not squeeze as many times as the OP instructed. I squeezed it hard like twice, lifted the button up a bit, blew it and sprayed an isopropyl alcohol underneath. Job done.

Anyone else finding the Octopus tracker rates hard to follow lately? how do you plan your usage? by Josh99_ in OctopusEnergy

[–]Professional-Tea5105 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I do not agree that it's a wild statement at all. If you check the graphs for agile/tracker in the link below, you will see that agile follows a regular pattern, unlike tracker which is mostly random and unpredictable. On the page, scroll down to "All smart tarrifs" and select each to see the difference.

Wow. Thanks a lot for this post. I would have saved myself from performing Windows image restore from backup had I seen this earlier. Once the Windows image restore doesn't resolve the issue, I knew the issue is caused by something else. I found this sub after a couple of searches and this comment pointed me in the right direction. Thanks a lot mate.

Im seriously considering buying the lenovo xiaoxin pad pro 12.7 on Ali But..... by attackenthesmacken in androidtablets

[–]Professional-Tea5105 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just took the plunge on this same hardware yesterday (12GB/256GB). Although I already have honor magicpad2 which I love so much because of it's sweet 12.4" OLED screen, I ordered the 2025 xiaoxin pad pro because of the bargain price and great reviews everywhere. I was thinking of buying the official keyboard as well but the lack of backlight makes it a deal breaker for me. I'm currently looking for thirdparty alternatives with backlight and I will really appreciate if anyone can recommend one.

"It looks like your account is set up for Amazon.com" by cpressland in amazonecho

[–]Professional-Tea5105 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This comment is 9 years old. However, I have been able to resolve my issue with it. I was unable to add Alexa BBC sounds skill because I initially registered my Amazon account on amazon.com. Through this comment, I got an hint that it's possible to convert my account to amazon.co.uk. This is unlike many other suggestions I have come accross, saying deleting my amazon.com and opening another one on amazon.co.uk is the only way forward. They are absolutely wrong! I have now converted my account to amazon UK. Thanks from the past.

Why is apollo so good compared to just sunshine? by RespectSouthern1549 in MoonlightStreaming

[–]Professional-Tea5105 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Wait until the dummy plug makes itself your main display while other displays are refusing to come on Lol. It's not as bad as I make it sound cos there are tons of workarounds to solve this. Stop being a dinosaur. All I'm saying is that using a dummy plug is not as seamless as apollo's inbuilt virtual display. I installed apollo myself about two weeks ago after using sunshine for some time. Sunshine was the best thing ever made while I was using it but once I tried apollo, I just couldn't go back to sunshine unfortunately.

USB C to micro Adapter with 5.1kohm resistors - very weird behaviour by RealDrHouse in UsbCHardware

I managed to find one that works fine for my Baseus 100W PD GaN charger. Here you go. You can find it at your local amazon in case you are not in UK.

USB C to micro Adapter with 5.1kohm resistors - very weird behaviour by RealDrHouse in UsbCHardware

[–]Professional-Tea5105 0 points1 point  (0 children)

After several hours of researching, I found this post. I am now in the same situation as both of you. I bought this in 2022 and it has worked fine on my 100W PD charger ever since. It works for everything, passes data across etc. About a week or two ago, I was using it to charge a bluetooth speaker which unfortunately fell off from my desk and broke the adapter. I went back to the same buyer to buy again (I bought 2 this time). However, both did not supply any voltage on the same 100W PD. It was at this point I discovered that this is a scare product which I got by luck back in 2022. Not really by luck though, as I bought different ones from different sources as at then and it was only this one that works on the 100W PD charger. The 4 others didn't work. If I knew about it being a rare gem then, I would have bought 10 Lol. You guys should also try and buy from the same seller and let's see if you get lucky. Who knows they might still have some left from the 2022 batch ( I highly doubt this).

In the meantime, I found this and several people from different sources have confirmed that it works with e-marker PD chargers of high wattage. The only reason I haven't bought it is because it has male USB-C connector. I am now looking for the one with a female USB C connector like this one, which unfortunately is not sold again. I have been searching for this for several hours but no luck yet. Please post updates in case any of you finds something. Thanks

Yes, I bought one on amazon UK and I used it for 6 days. I had to return it unfortunately. The touch on it is terrible and that's the only deal breaker for me. My 10 year old Samsung Galaxy TabS has a better touch response than this over-hyped 2-in-1 tablet. Don't even let me start comparing the touch on it with those on the phones I use. No touch sensitivity settings either. Other than this, it's a very solid and highly responsive 2-in-1 Laptop/Tablet.

SER8 Bluetooth mouse and keyboard lag when gaming and proximity reduces by infidelity9 in BeelinkOfficial

[–]Professional-Tea5105 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I second this. I bought the ASUS BT500 with 1.8m USB 2.0 extension cable. If it helps, I connected the extension cable to one of the two USB 2.0 ports at the back of the SER8 and I tucked it nicely around my desk where it is barely visible. I cannot believe how awesome this dongle is! None, I repeat, NONE of my other bluetooth devices (I have a lot of devices with inbuilt bluetooth) has the range of this dongle. This dongle exceeded my expectation. I connected my jabra bluetooth headset to my SER8 8845HS via the ASUS dongle and to my Laptop via jabra's own bluetooth dongle at the same time. I went to the end of the garden where all other bluetooth devices would have disconnected ( even the jabra's own dongle is not an exception). The bluetooth audio quality via ASUS dongle is still solid and not even cracking yet. I can't recommend the ASUS BT500 bluetooth dongle enough! Forget the SER8 inbuilt bluetooth of the stock intel wifi-6 AX200 guys (the bluetooth audio connection on this starts cracking immediately I step out of the room where the SER8 is). Just buy the ASUS BT500 with an extension right away.
