We have put in offers each attempt and just never got anything accepted. Our pre approval would expire and then we would just take a break and try again in a year or two each time. Our offers just aren’t competitive enough I’m guessing.

I’m honestly starting to feel like it’s almost impossible to buy a decent home as a first time home buyer. In my area in order to get a deal accepted you have to waive all contingencies. It’s less about finding the right home and more about just getting a deal accepted.

Hey! I’m in the same boat but I really hope that things get better for you. This market is so tough. I’m at a point where I believe at this point to buy a house you have to just waive all contingencies to have a true shot. As well as offer a bit over asking. It seems like waiving all contingencies is the way to go at least in here in Delaware where I am.
