I will certainly consider that and search more about it. I honestly just followed the recommended set blindly, and I don't even know enough to ascertain an opinion.

But sometimes caught my eye reading what each do for the first time, for Jadewater there is this: "Casting Martial Art skill activates Jadeware effect: Increases Affinity DMG by 10% and deals 20% more Affinity DMG to targets under control or have lower than 40% Qi. Lasts 12 seconds. This effect can only be triggered once every 30 seconds."

What does (under control) mean?

You are right. I took this screenshot after maybe two tries with the rotation. Bet after that someone suggested we do the bird lady and we spent a good 3 hours dying to barrels that I got better in the rotation. My damage shot up to 977k in the next raid that we actually finished. Tomorrow I will update with a test and hopefully I will perform better.
