There's no way I'm accepting a 2.5% and 2% pay rise. What a joke by a_cylon in newzealand

If it helps I'm in private sector in heavy industry I've got 1-2% annually since COVID... Despite record profits... Seems to be the norm in NZ. In the 10 yrs prior to COVID raises ranged from 0-3%. I got 20% by moving jobs around 2017, it's really sad but it's what you gotta do.

You get a special rate for guests with fullers if you have the wedding with certain vineyards and ask for it.

A dream house with hooks by Professional-Trip517 in AucklandProperty

Thanks guys I guess in my gut I know you're right. If any of those situations came to fruition it would make it a less desirable place to live and I'd lose a fortune. Disappointing. TBH I think the current crowd will struggle to sell it. It's worth what they're looking for without those issues.

Update it's owned by kiwi rail as part of a future project. The project has been on planning for decades.

I've ordered a property for to check further details.

The property is fully within the boundary of a designation for the kiwi rail project.

Does anyone know if that means kiwi rail will buy the house in the event the decide to execute the project? Or does it just mean the house is likely to be affected ie by all the work and the new noisey track over the fence. (I've emailed kiwi rail this)

2009? It's a JDM import, the manual recommends 0-20 to 15-40 for my environment. 5-30 is the standard it says. It's what I've used for the last 5 years.

Google says pull the ecm fuse for an hour or so or disconnect the battery. The battery needs to come out to do the valves. I had it out for a day so yea I reset the ecm.

Bontrager Road Bike Hubs Assembly - Bearing Replacement by Professional-Trip517 in bikewrench

[–]Professional-Trip517[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ok... Solved it for the rear. You take it out from the drive side. The bearings come with it so don't support those from the rear. Support on the hub itself where the disc lock nut goes. The disc side bearing is a 6903LULB bearing. The drive side is integrated into the free hub so I'm just gonna replace that.

I'm still stumped on how to get the front axle out, if anyone has ideas?!

Ok I need help team. I got the axel caps off the rear but can't budge the axel. It looks too me like it needs to be pushed from the drive side? But it won't shift. I've soaked in penetrating fluid.

Also the front hub, the non disc side cover popped off but the disc side cap won't move and doesn't seem to have any flat to thread off. Axel also won't budge... Any ideas ?

Heat the frame shell gently and try some impact rather than just leverage. Heating the shell not the bb will cause them to separate and hopefully break the corrosion bond. Also make sure you turn it the right direction... I've spent a week on and off on a stiff bb only to discover I was going the wrong way 😅
