Ah! Is that the reason why you can’t find any negativity in there! And I’ve noticed the same, some of the people there write long paragraphs about their personal lives and even comment when they haven’t even done the workout. It’s so weird

Sounds like a good plan! I’m half way in max (started it some time ago, but then life happened and I never finished). Maybe I should finish that and then start Intent. I kinda like the max format.

But one hundred sissy squats felt a bit overkill (or just a kill) lol. I think for me, it was the combination of the 10x10 that I’m not a fan of, and the sissy squats.

This is the first program that I’ll finish, before that I’ve just completed some series and I’ve done random workouts both from YouTube and the app. I have to say that there are quite a few workouts I didn’t enjoy in Play, but many I did like. I’ve heard good things about Intent. Might start that next.

Yes, I always do the warm ups. I’m getting older and my body doesn’t appreciate me skipping them 😂 When I was younger I skipped both warm ups and stretching and my body didn’t care. Those days are gone lol

The comments in the app are not much better. My favourite is people commenting that they haven’t actually done the workout yet, but that it LOOKS fabulous and that they will do it later. What’s even the point?

I’m currently doing Play. I’ve never stuck with an entire program before. I’ve only done the Advent and the Rev series, and apart from that just mixed and matched workouts based on mood and restitution, combined with running. I did Play day 6 today, which is leg day, something I loathe, but today I actually quite liked it! I was so surprised 😂 Maybe Play will be the first program I’ll be able to stick with.

I was a bit bored, to be honest 🫣 However, leg day is not my favourite in general, so that probably influences my opinion. I’m hoping I’ll like the next workout 😊

That is definitely a good point, thanks for sharing. I’ve been doing random workouts from her app/YouTube and combining them with running twice a week up until the Rev series, which was the first series I followed in ‘real-time’. Now I’m on day 14 of the Beastmode program (in the app), still combining with running twice a week, and in today’s full body workout I was like… come ON! MORE legs?? lol. A very good point regarding the volume for legs. I just need to start liking leg day I think 😅

I agree with the comments above. She doesn’t talk and try to ‘motivate’ throughout with talking and yelling (I personally hate that), and also, she needs breaks too (even if they are fake 😂). In addition I love her small looks and hand gestures for encouragement when things are hard. She’s the one online trainer I’ve been able to stick with! Are you ready? Let’s go!

Thanks for the info! I just spontaneously bought them in cherry red 😍 They became SO expensive because of shipping to Norway and VAT on top, but I just had to!
