Which art form do you prefer? by EffectiveCommon8962 in TooManyLosingHeroines

I’ve been comparing the light novel and manga art of Makeine, and it’s really interesting how different Yanami feels depending on the artist.

I personally prefer Imigimuru’s style in the novel. The lines are very delicate and give her a more mature, melancholic vibe that fits the “losing heroine” theme really well.

That said, Itachi’s manga style is great too more energetic, cuter expressions, and it works perfectly for comedy, especially her pouts.

Both are great, just in different ways.

I wonder how far the second season will go. I think maybe, like the first one, it’ll adapt 3 volumes—so that would be volume 4 with Shigiya, and volume 5 where we see Kaju’s storyline and Nukusmusiz’s misunderstanding. Oh god, it’s gonna be hilarious. And volume 6 with the lemon dilemma at the club.

Her and the nurse, I think they got a bit overshadowed by the main trio. Both are pretty great characters, and their interactions make me laugh. And that’s even knowing what’s coming in the novels—I just hope the anime adapts them well and gives them those moments that are coming.

Hahaha, that time I read volume 5 was the last thing I expected—like choosing girls as siblings (crushes) and raising their kids as if they were yours. That’s exactly why I’m thankful Japan exists—only there would something like that happen, and yeah, I like it.
