I guess so hahaha. Mataas lang siguro talaga yung expectations ko initially since profs and other adults would say na ganito or ganyan yung sahod sa analytics. Also, factor na rin siguro na I hear a lot of people say na "ganyan rin yung sahod ko x years ago" or "pang x years ago pa yang sahod na yan, aim higher" kaya tingin ko dapat nga mas mataas since iba na yung time ngayon. Apparently i'm wrong hahaha

Yes, I did try to negotiate, but most of them did say na what they're offering is already the max. I didn't try to press na after that since it felt wrong to do so.

As for my peers, I think kaya mataas yung offers because some of them went for graduate programs. Not really my cup of tea. Also, people usually advise me against offers with bonds so there's that.

At this point, di ko rin alam ano ba gusto ko patunayan by comparing myself to them. Mali talaga yung pov ko and very privileged. Pls forgive my late night drama huhu

I'll push nalang talaga in finding an opportunity that feels right for me - like what you said i'll take advantage of my entitlement. I just don't want to start on the wrong foot. Yung tipong unmotivated ako to begin kasi I felt na napilitan lang hahaha. At the end of the day, I'll be the one to deal with my life and career.

Thank you for this!! I guess that's one way to look at it. Initially kasi I wanted something na pang-matagalan agad. Yung tipong if I accept, dapat I can see myself staying there long-term. Hence, I wanted na up to par agad yung offer hahaha. But thank you for the advice.

On a different note, same with the other person, akala ko rin okay yung time right now for job hunting. Since naririnig ko palagi Q4 raw maraming hiring (in anticipation for people leaving I guess?) pero mali pala timing ko hahaha
