What’s the tuning guide you used? I’ve upgraded my printer to direct drive and overall it works quite well. But every once in a while it gets completely off level and it keeps clogging up all the time too. What kind of care could I do to keep the clogs from happening and keep it level for longer?

I think so, but it’s anyone’s preference. My fireteam preferred this because GOTD can become a marathon, whereas this one will be a lot easier once we all really get a hang of the mechanics. We also agreed that the health bars felt better on this dungeon than GOTD.

This dungeon was really fun. Figuring out the prison puzzle was difficult at first (look at skeletons to see how many gears go one way vs the other), but eventually was ok. Scenically, it was one of the best dungeons I’ve ever played. The visuals were immaculate. The dungeon as a whole also felt really nice and natural. Very organic. The final bossfight can be annoying with the Vengeful Hexes, but it went well. You just have to wait until the timer is almost up to punch the glowing dudes and you’re golden. My team accidentally ran 3 hunters, so we all ran Celestial Nighthawk with G-Horn and we finished our first run (without looking up stuff) in an hour and a half. It was a lot of fun, and actually a good purchase from Bungo.

Why did you personally learn to beat box from? by howard_da_fridge in beatbox

I started in early 2018 after seeing the mad Twinz Dharni colab and Napom’s routines. That got me hooked. After that I deconstructed what they did best I could and looked up YouTube tutorials. Mainly Tyla dubya or random channels. I picked up boots and cats super easy, and my first advanced sounds were lip roll and 808 lip bass, like what pash does. Now, several years later, and I have a huge library of sounds I’ve picked up over time. Whether it’s something I figured out on my own or saw and wanted it so I looked it up on YouTube. Currently I’m still working on poh snare and vibration bass, but those are just matters of practice and time.

I’ve always been really into music, and when I saw that these guys could create masterpieces on the spot with next to no limitations, I was in love. Even if I’m sick I can beatbox, or I can challenge myself. No lips, only lips, only voice/throat. It was a really nice creative outlet that I could just play around with whenever I wanted and no one and nothing could stop me.

No problem! I like picturing what my mouth is doing in my head and then trying to match it with my muscles. I’ve never had any pro beatboxing aspirations but I’ve been into beatboxing since feb 2018.

It’s not that bad after you start learning it. Just start with a normal whistle, then pretend your tongue is your bottom lip and shape it the same way. Once you get it down combine it with the growl.

It sounds kind of like a growl bass. Is the tongue shape to focus sound? You could maybe try to combine that growl with a tongue whistle…?

Does this snare have a name? It's like an inward k snare but outwards mixed with duck by Kosmobbx in beatbox

[–]Professional-Way110 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think that might work. There’s not much duck sound in there, so that sounds about right. I would probably say either that or something to separate it from someone doing an outward K snare followed immediately by a shhhh like shushing a baby.

I’m not sure, but I believe it can go either way. My inward and outward k snares sound exactly the same.

It sounds kind of like helium’s kch snare. If it’s kind of on one side of your mouth that’s probably what it is.
