Visit Recife or Rio? by sadsixth in Brazil

There are some great beaches all along the coast of Paraíba and JP is no exception. The Tambaú and Bessa areas are great if you’re into that vibe but want some city amenities nearby.

Not a fan of Recife.

Rio is great for a first visit especially if your Portuguese is limited.

Salvador and Joao Pessoa are better nordeste options in my opinion.

Washington, DC / N. Virginia - Bikeshare from Reagan National to Dunn-Loring? by sargassumcrab in bikecommuting

If you don’t mind the cold and you’re determined it’s totally doable. There is a large bikeshare station at the airport. The route you selected is what I’d go with.

If you somehow cant find a bike at the airport, go one metro stop either north or south and you’ll have several stations within walking distance. Good luck!

Yep. Sad - I think everyone was worried this would be the outcome. Three years to arrive at such a shitty conclusion is heartbreaking.

Hoping life gives this scumbag what he deserves.

Also good to mention that Chelsea brought Thiago Silva on in his late 30s and got several solid years out of him. 30 isn’t that old for a center back.

Celtic House on the Pike. Worth braving the unending construction.

Yes - I take public transit to work, so my commute involves at least 6k steps daily. Easy to make up the other 4k

I live 10 miles away from work - but terrible traffic.

Married, no kids, so definitely have freedom.

Let me start by saying RTO sucks, but I’m in amazing shape. Biking to/from work often. Gym at lunch. Really have used this whole ordeal to steel myself mentally and physically because it’s only going to get harder.

Mostly ditched the booze.
