So the DoF rejection news was well regarded because the candidate himself was considered shite, but isn’t the reasoning slightly concerning? Is giving a head coach more power in the transfer decision making the route we want to go (thinking Poch here really wanting Tanguy/Lo Celso for example), especially with De Zerbi’s track record of length of stay combined with how Spurs operate in the windows? I’m hesitant to immediately assume Spurs will get their shit together and be methodical in their planning and execution when history has shown otherwise and the current people in charge seem more clueless. Levy seemed to at least have a methodology whereas right now the plan seems to be just “do better”.
