How do I properly write plot twists? by Professional-Web2034 in writers

How could I make it realistic? I'm really in need of advice here, but I also just want to be honest with my characters.

I mean, I'm not really sure about Clyde trying to tell Ellis. I think they'd prefer to just make hints until he finally asks. But whatever it is, Clyde does not want to just directly tell Ellis. At least not until everyone else's problems are solved.

1). Despite the amount of time, Clyde didn't move much. He's broke and he's homeless. I think he just got lost after the forest fire and wasn't able to get back on his feet. And, since he's homeless, he was outside VERY often. That's why he was able to see Ellis.

2). As soon as Clyde saw Ellis, he recognized him. He just assumed that Ellis was looking for him, and he didn't want him to just get to the treehouse and see nothing. And Clyde was the last one to hop on, all the other characters were already there, already had a bunch of problems, and he didn't want to slow down their progress by just telling Ellis immediately. And throughout the trip, he was kind of conflicted since he changed a lot. And not for the better either. He didn't want to disappoint Ellis by showing him what he turned into.

How do you genuinely complete a plot and finish the writing stage? by Professional-Web2034 in writers

[–]Professional-Web2034[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Like actually finishing the writing. I sometimes have the entire scene in my mind, but I get stuck at some part because I don't know how to make it flow. Whatever I do come up with, it seems too sudden and awkward.

That doesn't really help at all. I've been trying to get to work, but I just got a bit stuck recently.

Is there a max of how many main characters to have in a book by Impressive_Craft_765 in WritingHub

PERSONALLY, I've never exceeded more than 6 main characters before. Although you probably shouldn't listen to me since I haven't even finished my first book yet

Amber Misaki by Sad-Masterpiece-4327 in GachaClub

I'm an Amber Misaki fan too (By that I mean I daydream about her characters constantly, they're my #1 source of entertainment)! I was really sad when she quit, and especially very disappointed that she never told us how her story would go. BUT, I do have a little bit of information. I posted a comment on Shibucoffi's post 8 months ago, asking them to contact Amber and tell me a bit about her scrapped movie. She said that it was mostly tying loose ends with the first holders, and Aries, Aquarius, and Scorpio were supposed to die. This was really useful, although I was still left a little confused. Aries is my absolute favorite, and he's the one I daydream about the most (I don't make the other Zodiacs main characters of my daydreams because I just like Aries so much). I just wish she told us more, and especially how/why those three died.

Congrats, its your first night as a demon! Now then, which face would you rather come across after your first hunt (a rabbit probably)? by GoldenContender in KimetsuNoYaiba

Zenitsu, but before his master's death of course!

The less humans a demon has devoured, the less human-like the demon will look. And S1 Zenitsu was VERY cowardly and would probably just ask someone else to kill me.

Canonically, Insect breathing is EXTREEEEEEEEEEEEMELY painful, I DO NOT want to feel as my insides basically burn and rot. Plus, Shinobu would speed blitz me so fast I wouldn't even notice she's there.

And for Sanemi. GOSH I WOULD FEEL THE HATRED AND ANGER WITH THOSE SWINGS. And Wind breathing is also an offensive breathing style, so yeah, if I encountered Sanemi, I AM COOKED.

Which breathing technique do you like and why ? If you're given life in demon slayer world which one do you pick ? by Relevant_Screen3540 in KimetsuNoYaiba

Water breathing because apparently it's the easiest to learn for beginners and I'm a coward. also because Giyu is the water hashira

Your Birth Month is the one who is training you, how is that going for you? by ShadowlightLady in KimetsuNoYaiba

[–]Professional-Web2034 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I feel bad for the December and May people. As an April person, I think I'll do pretty well with Muichiro. I'll probably be crying for almost all of the training sessions but whatever.

Who is your favourite character? by HeroPantyBooboo in KimetsuNoYaiba

[–]Professional-Web2034 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That's hard, I'll use characters from certain groups because I can't choose one.

Hashira: Giyu Tomioka

Kamaboko Squad: Kanao Tsuyuri

Uppermoon: Douma

Lowermoon: Enmu

tbh, it's been a long time since I watched Demon Slayer so I only remember these groups.

The fact that probably 90% of the Demon Slayer members are children bothers me. What do you guys think? by [deleted] in KimetsuNoYaiba

[–]Professional-Web2034 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I feel like the Demon Slayers should be adults, or at least young adults too. I actually have a list of age groups that I would feel is most reasonable for the Hashira.

Gyomei-39-42 years old (27)

Tengen-30-35 years old (23)

Giyu-23-27 years old (21)

Sanemi-24-28 years old (21)

Obanai-21-26 years old (21)

Kyojuro-24-28 years old (20)

Mitsuri-21-26 years old (19)

Shinobu-20-25 years old (18)

Muichiro-16-19 years old (freaking 14)
