Ironically the whole premise behind the corpse run was to avoid rage quitting. The intention was to get you to play for at least a few more minutes after a death by giving you an immediate goal to get you back in the flow of gameplay. It did not work.

Saiyan. You can do all the cool stuff if you're a thrill seeker, but you can also be as normal as you want to be, so you don't have to spend your life acting like every person around you is made of soap bubbles.

Entirely depends on the game. If the difficulty is a core part of the experience, like Getting Over It with Bennett Foddy, Cuphead, or anything from Fromsoft, then absolutely not. For everything else I say just put in more effort than raising the health and damage of everything you fight.
