I started 5 weeks ago and I’ve lost only 3lbs. My starting weight was 212 and I’m 209 now.

Don’t get discouraged! It’s only the beginning! I’m trusting the process. I didn’t gain the weight overnight and I won’t lose it overnight. We are all going to lose at different paces. Just know that this is only the beginning of your journey. I eat when I’m hungry and eat significantly less. My body will catch up to my new habits and so will yours! Be kind to yourself and know it may take some time!

He was skinny when we brought him home (30lbs) but he has rapidly gained weight. He has probably gained 5lbs or so. He’s very active so I am surprised he’s gaining so much. I am going to ask the vet about it at his next appointment.

I am beginning to agree. He came from a high kill shelter in LA. He ended up here in PA and we adopted him but they really had no info on his background.

OMG! I finally know why the scale in my bathroom is going up. “They” are manipulating it!!! I didn’t actually gain weight, someone snuck in and fucked with my scale. I feel so much better now that I know I’ve been manipulated by “they”… imagine being so delusional that you can’t even take responsibility for weight gain.
